- The overall crowd, since its one of the well known colleges of du, the crowd seems great and being the most famous college of south campus the campus life is great
- The faculty is well trained since its one of fhe prestigious college of du
- The infrastructure is nice, new buildings where our classes take place is good
Dislikes
- The time table is very tiering since we have classes from 9-5 3 days a week and rest of the week no classes take place creating no balance
- The infrastructure for summers is not nice
- The attendance criteria is very rigoureus
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus overall, i love reading about new things and litreturte fulfills that aspect very well so thats somthing that motivated me to take up this course, apart from that it has wide scope just is very lenthy for the time we have
Internships Opportunities
The interships are mostly paid but the stipend varies from company to company since each and every company offers diff roles and expect differnt work from people. So no fixed stipend is there also our teachers help us alot in finding internships
Placement Experience
The average package is 120000 which is pretty good after bachelors degree and placement is pretty good. Percentage of stidents getting placed is somewhere between 30-60% .companies like BAIN etc visit and hire students. My plans after getting a degree is to apply for masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has year wise fee system instead of semester wise which is great and its meraly 21000 which is very affordable. It includes everything the registration fee, library fee everything. There are 2 types od scholarships available in the college for students based on merits
Campus Life
The campus life is very fun and happeing, events taking place all day around the campus, so many students led groups such as enactus and extension etc working for the comminity to create impact have really helped students to do something. Thier is cricket feild and tennis court in our college so infra is good. The annual fest like nexus have big arists perfoemimh
Admission
The other colleges i got into were daulat ram college in north campus for same course, i didnt take it up because it being a girls college lacks exposure as much as a coed one. The other college was nift jodhpur but dint like the course so didnt take it up No i got selected in all the colleges i applied in. The admission takes place through CUET and the cutt off varied from 728 to 700 for my course for gen category
Faculty
We have our exams of 160 marks out of which 70 are internal and 90 marks written exam, the marks soley depned on your teacher and your relation with them instead of our efforts. Some commerce department faculty are too strict
Night Life
There is an open gym for students to exercise but since i dont live in hostel incant use it much canteen is a very happening place. The hostel timeing are somewhere aorind 9 pm. The famous hangout place in college is maggie point and the students like to visit the market in front of campus called satya niketan
Other Applied Colleges
