I really liked them campus and the fact that it has 3 cafes . College cafeteria , NEScafe , Mitticafe
The faculty and teaching methods are amazing and helps me understand complex concepts better
I like the campus gardens and feild. Also like playing in the indoor badminton court

Dislikes

I dislike the washrooms as they not very well built or maintained

Course Curriculum Overview

I beleive that my course Bcom Honours is extremely relavant in context of the real world as it teaches me about Human resource management, Coorporate accounting and company law. Also the way are teachers teach it is very good.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was able to gain access to various internship opportunities because of my college in my 1st semester in various startups such Intelliinvest and NGO by the name of Some Sunshine where i was leading a project for the helping of people in old age homes.

Placement Experience

The placements of my college are good for any 3 year program or undergrad college. It allows us to network with people from very good companies such as Bain and Co and Mckinsey. Students become elegible in semester 5.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a general category student i paid 30000 for my first year. There are no financial aids or scholarship benefits available for me but they are available for SC /ST category students . There are no extra fees for a program like bcom honours or economics honours.

Campus Life

The Societies available in my college are great as they allow us expand our network and helps us learn new real life skills. The college Portal is extremely useful to track our attendance , grades and classes

Admission

Hansraj college is Tier 1 college for commerce right after SRCC and Hindu. I got into Nlu Johdpur and IIm rohtak (IPM programme) But i chose hansraj because it is a great college with amazing faculty . I scored 99.56 Percentile in my cuet and AIR 604 which made it extremely difficult for me to get in.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is great and the teachers are approachable and always willing to solve doubts . I really like suman jain ma'am as she explained difficult accounts project than anyone could and was always ready to help with any problems we faced academic or not

Night Life

The college as a great gym and and very famous place known as LOVERS POINT. it is a small shop where it is fun to hangout at. Also a lot of my friends like hanging around the wall of fame( Famous at hansraj college)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
