Rigorous work. From 9 to 5 , it's difficult to study anything other than syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Under cbcs, the curriculum includes lab works , field visits , workshops , SEC , VAC . The program smoothly prepraes for higher studies msc and research careers . The syllabus is academically solid and standard for a strong life-science foundation. Includes Strong core syllabus with modern biology exposure.

Class Size: 89Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees 30000. Second year 37000. Total of 1 lakh approx for three years . Fee amounts are generally stable year-to-year . Hostel fees are 80000 per semester. Hence total of 1.6 lakh per year. Scholarship to needy and eligible students is provided.

Campus Life

I find the campus vibe energetic and socially engaging . College organise annual fests and campus events like diwali mela , nss mela etc . Very vibrant environment overall. Seniors are approachable. We have active dance ,drama , singing, arts clubs . Debate club too . These societies increase communication power .

Admission

I applied for Miranda house ,ramjas , hindu in north campus . I got hansraj in second round so I opted it . Online admission process . Submit ur documents and fees and bring your application form for first day entry . Eligibility is according to subjects . Agriculture has high cut off then zoology then chemistry then botany.

Faculty

Faculty student relationship is very formal and progressive. Faculties response as quickly as they can for students Dr kaveri ma'am is one i respect and like the most . Total 3 core exams per sem .others are sec , vac,ge.

Night Life

I have never been in college at night . Not much idea about it . But what I want is to extend the library times for normal days too . College ends at 5:30 . Lp area is a very famous hangout place in hansraj college. In winter wear prefer sports ground.

Hasnraj College: A new start

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the curriculum as fairly comprehensive and relevant. It was the curriculum that led me to choose the college as it builds a strong foundation in core subjects like programming, data structures, etc. these subjects are essential for industry roles and higher studies. Exams are semester based with internal exams and mid Sem exams. Overall academically sound curriculum.

A three year journey of personality development.

Placement Experience:

The college doesn't provide much placements, eventhough there is a placement cell in College, it's special for b.com hons and eco hons. The highest package was somewhat 59 lakhs and normally companies like Deloitte hires. As i said placements is only exclusive for the students who studies finances. I won't ve opting for anything placements as I prefer mostly doing Masters

BSc Zoology at Hansraj College, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college follows NEP and the curriculum fulfills all the necessary knowledge required at undergraduate level. NEP also adds VAC, AEC and SEC as extra subjects that feel irrelevant at time. However someone can utilise it well to develop an understanding of other fields too. The exam difficulty is moderate but requires complete knowledge of the syllabus to score well.

Placement Experience:

Our college has pretty good placements especially in the commerce departments with offers being made from companies like deloitte Accenture and lenskart. The average package is of 900000 per annum. I am more inclined towards research and intend to pursue a master's degree.

Placement Experience:

Placemenets of the overall colleges are good, especially for commerce related streams, however for science streams they are just well. Highest package varies around 12-15lpa and average is 5-9lpa. 60% students get placed while others either prefer higher studies or get rejected. I plan to go for higher studies.

My growth journey in ARSD

Placement Experience:

It is steadily improving, usually students from semester 5 become elegible for campus placements . Some of the comapnies that regularly visit are Deloitte, ICIC bank, ZS associates and others. The average package ranges between 4 to 6 LPA and the highest package goes upto 12LPA. Usually 7-8 cgpa ones are placed or are elegible for the campus placements, my plans after getting the degree is to pursure higher studies along with relevant internships

I got this college in the first allotment itself as I put it at a higher preference. Some other colleges I applied to were lady shri ram college, daulat ram college, atma ram sanatan dharma college etc. I did not opt for them because my college provided better infrastructure. A colleges which I did not get accepted into is hindu college for which I needed a better score. I chose this college because of its strong base of commerce after Srcc it was my priority. On my first preference there was srcc as it is the top college for commerce but on my second preference it was hansraj college that i got i didn't get into srcc as my marks were less then cutoff but yeah i am very happy with hansraj college.
