I can't say it is tooo good , I can't say it's tooo bad. If you ask me as being kannadiga my experience in this college was not so memorable as the entire college is filled from so called northies and many of the kannadigas in RVCE they refuse to speak kannada and they act like they're from another planet.

Course is good but never expect teachers to complete the syllabus start studying from day 1 and to be honest mechanical department is not so strict. As per new scheme three internal assesments will be conducted and average of three will be considered and final SEM end exams will be there

Placements are good but they claim to be 10% while it's not as claimed. Many companies attend and there's no strict rules as far as how many students can get opportunity to participate in placement and especially for mechanical the packages are considerably low when compared to CS.yes the college provides internship but only need students can get to know about it if you're not aware of what's going around then it's not for you

Kannada habba - it's an event which will be celebrated every year on virtue of kannada rajyotsava it'll be a treat for all the kannadigas out there 8th mile - it can be called as annual day celebration where most of northies erupt to voulenteer the programm but it'll be boring for kannadigas as they don't give preference to kannada

If you got a govt seat then it'll be feasible as normal standard price is taken by the college but if you're planning for a management quota then better to forget the idea of engg as you can open a well established business with the amount which you'll pay to college.

They offer many but many of the students will opt for educational loans and scholarship will only be meant for bookworm students as everything will be dependent on lecturers and marks as well. I think in civil branch there is one scholarship for poor people and when I applied I didn't know why I wasn't selected

You can participate in various extracurricular activities there are plenty of opportunities but the competition will be equally high. Labs are old but good sports you have badminton cricket football tt judo carrom chess basket ball baseball handball

I'm not sure as I've just exited the college. I think the college gives plenty of opportunities to take part in various of functions as an allumini you can be judge of various quiz competition , events etc.

I had completed diploma in mechanical engineering and got into RVCE via DCET which is conducted by Karnataka govt. After DCET there will be counciling process you'll have to bear a ranking within 25 to get admission in RVCE if you don't have any quota.

They're ok but not Soo good they does their work punctually.they are regular to classes they're friendly with students and some of them encourages students while some doesn't and they keep on focusing on their work.
