What Students Say
Likes
- I really like the energy and enthusiasm of the people in the campus as it motivates me to interact with people whom I don’t know and it creates a good environment for any outsider to blend in. The campus is in a fairly good location of East Delhi.
- The faculty is really helpful as well as understanding, they are available for us at anytime of the day to help us even with our smallest doubts. The examinations are a little on the tougher side to make sure we study and learn our concepts by heart.
- The best thing about my college is that there is absolutely no ragging here, each and every senior here helps and treats us like their siblings and take pressure off of us where academics is involved.
Dislikes
- The only thing I dislike is that the main building has a blue light reflecting from the top covering through the sun which makes every thing inside the building a little blue other than that I don’t have any complaints.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty straight forward, we are taught the latest trends and recent developments in economics as a proper course while also studying the fundamental theory of economics with mathematics as a proper tool in our course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees is 1 lakh, 16 thousand rupees, it includes tuition and examination fees. Every other course in my campus like BBA has approximately the same fees.I don't know the fees of other caregories
Campus Life
The campus experience for me was a little bit overwhelming at first because I had left a college after attending for 1.5 months, I fell a little out of place in the first semester but I had made a really good decision to be a part of the photography club called 60fps.dtu and I found myself at peace with the seniors as well as the faculty and it made me express myself more even though I had never actually done photography even for fun before this. Now I'm the event head of the club and running for president in the next year.
Admission
I was in a college called Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan for approximately 1.5 months, pursuing the same course. The college was affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. I had applied to DTU during my CUET days and I got an offer to pursue the same economics course here and I took it in a second as DTU is very reputed in terms of it's achievements and academic history
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 50:1 and the faculty is very approachable, friendly and always ready to help. I am pursuing economics so I only know about the economics faculty and I can firmly say that every faculty like Mrs. Akanksha, Mr. V.K and Mrs. Sucheta Sardar have always been a firm supporter of the students and are brilliant in what they teach.
Night Life
There is a Nescafé in the campus, there are no hostels in the campus but there are a lot of PGs just besides the college campus and almost every resident student pays approximately 6-7 thousand rupees per month for a room here which is fair enough for a good enough room. The night life is beyond the campus, a little more on the eating side haha.
