Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is old and rigid, they still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with the introduction of SEC and VAC courses, students have some different options which they can choose to study for their semester.

Internships Opportunities

3

It's been just a year in this college and internship and placement program is held every year by the Placement cell of our college. Under Incrementum, there are several companies that offer internships with stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've been charged around 35000 in my first year and 32000 approximately in the second year. Fee structure for other courses is approximately the same as ours. The fees is slightly high as compared to other colleges under Delhi university.

Campus Life

3

The overall campus is good. We have annual fest that is called Manjari, which is quite good in the Delhi university. The library of Daulat Ram College is well maintained and has a lot of books. If you talk about sports, the sports ground is quite big. There are many NGO's and student run societies in the college as well.

Admission

NIRF ranking was one of the consideration for choosing this college. Also, located in north campus became the second reason, I chose to go ahead with this college. The course I got was also decent enough.

Faculty

4

The number of faculty is quite good, you can approach them whenever you want for any advice. They are very cooperative and are always there to help the students. We've a total of 7 subjects and atleast 5 subjects have a theoretical exam and the other 2 SEC and VAC subjects depend on whether the student has opted for practical or theoretical subject.

Interview Experience

3

No, there were group discussions if you apply for societies but the college didn't conduct any written test or group discussion for the same. We had to appear for CUET, according to the score, it depends on whether we are eligible for the particular course and college or not

Night Life

3

Our college is in the north campus itself, so our surrounding is very happening. We even have a hostel but that is just for the first yearies. There are many cafes and eatery shops near our college and a lot of street food options.

From 6th sem students become eligible for placement cells.I have not many ideas about how the placement works in my college, though the average package is between INR 3 LPA to INR 5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is almost 70 percent. My plans after getting the degree is going for cuet pg to get admission for postgraduation courses in Delhi... particularly JNU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not designed to meet new standards of education as of the world. The curriculum still holds the long theoretical part that are no longer needed for the students. Curriculum should contain more of the real world teaching as well as skill development programs including the regular debates and influential skill training.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum activities are kind of normal. I really want something interesting like i got a teacher this sem who gave us different types of curriculum activities as assignment instead of making us write 12 pages that is waste of time and efforts in my opinion. The exam level is moderate to high but overall average student can score good.
