In 2008-12 college was affiliated to the Calicut University. Now the exams are being conducted by Kerala Technical University. Course consists of 8 semesters and semester exam at the end of each semester.

Placements are limited and only the best performing students get placed to companies. The companies visiting the College for placement are also very less when compared to other government engineering colleges. No internships are provided.

Arts Fest is celebrated every year in the college. A 3 to 4 days long Technical fest is also celebrated every year in the college. Sports fest is also celebrated in the college annualy. Also various programmes are celebrated by the college union.

During 2008-12 the fees was Rs 6200 per year. The fees structure is decided by the government and it is very much feasible and be afforded. Various scholarship are also available for students from the economically weaker sections of the society.

I have not availed any loans or scholarship for the course. But various government sponsored scholarships are available for students from economically weaker sections of the society. Educational Loans can also be availed from the scheduled commercial banks for pursuing this course.

Inter collegiate youth festival is conducted every year and students are provided the opportunity to display their artistic skills. A full time physical education tutor is avaialbale in the college. The labs are also of high standards.

Alumnis of the college are working in various companies and organisations in India and Abroad. Alumni meets are conducted once in two years and are helpful for the students in their placements and projects.

Admission was through Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance examination in 2008. We can apply to the interested colleges and courses in the allotment process. Based on our entrance rank we will get alloted to the College of our choice.

All permanent faculties are well experienced and having sound knowledge of the subject they are handling. As it is a government College faculties are selected on their merit from the PSC examinations.
