Good college with good faculty

We follow KTU 2024 curriculum .Curriculum is good it greatly prepare us for real world application.I think exams are coming too frequent and we are not getting enough time to study.We need to participate in internships, workshops and arts and sports to get activity points. Then only we get the degree the curriculum is made that way

We get a lot of internship opportunities at our college.Companies like Wipro provides internship with stipend.We get several notification of internship programme in our whatsapp group from various private companies.Roles like campus ambassador are provided

Our college provides good placement. From Semester 7 students becomes eligible for campus placements. Recruiting companies are Larsen and toubro ,Infosys,TCS,Welspun Corp Ltd,Schneider Electric,Reliance Industries, UnoMinda Ltd etc The average package was 5 LPA and highest package was 7.5LPA on 2024.We got a total of 83 placement offer this year.Mechanical engineering department got 32 placement offer. A minimum of 40% student get placement every year.My plan after getting the degree is to get into L&T through college placement.

The 1st year fees i paid was a total of 23,490 Tuition fee:6300 Admission fee:240 Special fee(R):1740 Special fee(PD):370 Caution deposit:1000 This totals to 9650 and was paid to CEE through online while the time of KEAM allotment SC/ST/OEC students only have to pay ?1000 to CEE. The institutional fees that i paid at the time of admission in college is 1300 for bus The university fee that i paid at the time of admission in college is Administration fee:1050 Affliation fee:750 Arts and sports fee:530 SC/ST/OEC students have to pay only 1300 as university fee Other fees are PTA fund:6500 Co operative membership :210 Student Welfare fund:2500 Alumni Fund :1000

We have 2 main events in our college. Drishya which is a cultural fest and Lakshya which is a tech fest.Many other events are also organised by the students.We have a good Central library and department library.On library we have decent facility for sitting there.We have all the necessary facilities in our college.Sports facilities are very limited in our college. Facilities for newly added branch computer science and design is not so good.Theres also many student clubs in our college like IEEE,IEDC,SAE,ISTE which conducts many programmes and through which we can improve our leadership and communication skills.We also have NSS in our college.

I chose this college because this is a government college.I applied to all the government colleges in kerala for KEAM 2024 allotement proces and this college was my 6 th option.I got allotement at this college this way. We need to get a decent rank in KEAM exam to get into here. Our college is very small compared to other government colleges.Other government colleges like GEC thrissur and CET trivandrum have better placement and great facilities than our college.

The faculties are very great . They are highly qualified proffesional who got their degrees from NIT and IITs.We can approach faculty any time for doubt solving.They are ready to help us anytime.Good faculty is the best thing one can say about our college.I like Physics Anupa Tr Mathematics faseela tr and our HOD Pradeep kammath.Sudheesh sir teaches engineering mechanics nicely but he is very strict.Athira miss and hunize sir takes life skills and professional communication class and we like them very much.Aishwarya ragi tr takes ICE class for us she teaches very well and have a nice character. Our college is under KTU and follows KTU 2024 curicculum.All things is done as per the curriculum .We have 8 sem to complete in 4 years and have sem exams twice a year. College conducts 2 series exam before the sem exam.Exams are tough and most students fail the exams

Our college is very small.We have a gym.College canteen is very good we get good food with good price. College store provides stationary items in cheap price. Famous hangout place is mechcorner where students of mechanical engineering students hangout.The locality is kinda safe to roam around at night.
