Remarks

I choose Miranda house because it is one of the best college in Delhi University in terms of infrastructure faculty and overall campus environment. The admission process was through CSAS portal ,where I fill my preferences and got allotted Miranda. Compare to other colleges as applied for, Miranda of a better vibe, strong academic and more supportive atmosphere. I have no regret about not joining others.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I find the course curriculum relevant and fairly comprehensive, as it cover both fundamental concept and practical applications. The structure syllabus and inclusion of computer science subject influence my decision to choose the course. Its prepates well for real world skills and further academic studies. Exams are frequent and usually schedule mid semester with limited time, and making the moderate difficult improvement is needed in adding more updated contents.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay early fees of rupess 17160 at Miranda house under the regular fee structure. This amount represent the standard college charges applicable to the most student in the general category. The see include tuition ,student fund ,library excess and other compulsory component that are the part of annual academic cost. Fee differently slated for my batchmates -SC/ST students with valid income certificate receive major concessions, while general/OBC categories student paid in amount similar to me. The college also provide scholarship and financial assistance for student facing economical difficulties.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus experience has been very nice. Social life is active with various clubs and apartmental societies organise every month event in fest. The library offers good book accessibility ,and the classrooms are well equipped . Sports and extra curricular activities are excellent providing student with ample opportunities with the campus itself.

Faculty

5

The faculty at Miranda house is very approachable and supportive. Although I don't know the exact facult-student ratio the teacher are always available to guide us both academy and personally. Each student is assign a mentor which make communication even easier. I specially like the computer science department faculty because they are understanding friendly and help us solve problem with patience. Exam are strict and quit challenging usually involving the limited time criteria that most student clear them. Overall the course and curriculum are highly relevant and well structure.

Interview Experience

5

Yes there was a written test for Delhi University , Miranda House called CUET based on the score they decide but ofcourse your preferences always matter . There was no group discussion or interview taken by the college .

Night Life

5

Night time around Delhi University is lively. Beside of the canteen there many popular hangout places during the daytime, while in the evening students of in visit Kamla Nagar cafes food spots and parks in Vijayanagar. There are plenty of safe places nearby to relax and enjoy your friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was quite relevant and precise. Specific pages from a variety of books were prescribed for every subject in every semester. We were studying the best content from best books of famous authors. We were not ristricted to Indian authors only. Being BSc students also, we were learning from engineering books and foreign authors. The exams were semester wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum for Bsc Life sciences is very well with cherishing subjects of SEC skill enhancement course and VAC value added course . There are three core subjects each related to 1. Zoology 2. Botany 3. Chemistry This curriculum prepares well for research oriented future and make your basics strong. After doing this course it opens wide options for students to chose their path . Frequency of exams are twice a year and 2 internals a year. Difficulty level of internals is moderate but end sems can be tough to tackle.

Just there is a training and placement cell department available with the college by the faculty members but mostly small companies like burger King, Colgate and other recruiting agencies. Average interest received by the final year student is 3 lakhs per annum and the highest package was 7 LPA. Highest stipend for internships was 25,000 per month. Sab students also try to get a job by their own and some students prepare for government exam also. Some students go for further studies like Masters and PhD courses.

Since we are the smallest batch out of all the courses around 75% girls do get placed in physical fitness business. The gym culture is growing and also wellness companies as well. Hence this percentage will go up in few years time and I hope it happens by 2027 so that I can have a perfect role and job from our campus itself.
