i chose Jesus and Mary college over other colleges i applied to as i wanted a well reputed Delhi University college with strong academic environment and a safe campus environment. The admission process at Delhi University is CUET based

Faculty

at JMC faculty student ratio is comfortable and teacherd are generally approachable and supportive.Most proffessors are extremely experienced and explain concepts clearly . The course structure includes mix of Discipline Specific courses, electives, skill enhancement courses value addition courses and ability enhancement courses

Night Life

Since i live in Noida and commute on a daily basis i am not very familiar with the night life around campus. Most stufents hangout at the JMC Canteen, satya niketan Market, dilli haat or nearby cafes during the day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745. I had 756 and so I had to take admission here and CUET UG entrance is the only way of getting in JMC or any colleges of Delhi University....Read More
