- I like the vibe and crowd of my college as its very lively and is pretty much knowledgeable that helps me to grow as a person even more,there are diversity in people as many come from other states and countries too .
- The campus life i also very good as there are many other things to explore around the college which makes the college life even more fun.
- The fees of the college is also very affordable which makes people with low income also get their educatrion from reputed college.
Dislikes
- The teaching style is way too old school for my liking also the curriculum doesnt match the current standards and requirements.
- The faculty is also sometimes very ignorant and arrogant.
- The infrastructure is also very poor and needs a whole renovation.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mathematics as a subject is what i admire the most as it needs more critical thinking and solving rather than just cramming textbooks.The curriculum on the other hand does not really help to face the real life applications as the curriculum is pretty outdated and needs innovation.It can have more practicality and example based teaching.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 17,115 INR for my admission in Kirori Mal College. I dont know much about the fees of my other batchmates.There are many scholarships like Shri Bhodiswar Rai Scholarship which provides around 36,000 INR per year.
Campus Life
The campus life is very lively and the people around me are really knowledgeable and helpful.The annual fest in my college is called Rennaisance.The range of books in library is pretty solid.The sports activities are decent in our college.
Admission
I chose Kirori Mal College as I came to know that its mathematics department is pretty solid and which is true as i have not faced any academics problem but it can have little more practicality rather than just solving theorems.I didnt apply for any other college i applied for this college and i got it.The CUET is the exam through which students are admitted in the college,
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is for every teacher there are 23 student.The faculty to student relation is very mix,sometimes faculty does not understand the needs of students but the teachers are approachable to get our doubts clear.The Mathematics faculty is really good but i dont know much about others as i am a fresher.
Night Life
The library closes at 6.30 PM in our college.The campus life in day is pretty good as there are diverse people from different parts of world.As I am from Delhi itself,I do not know about the hostel life.The famous hangout spots are Sudama Chai Wala,Tom Uncle Maggie Point,Nexus Gaming Arcade etc.
