IIIT Pune Detailed Review

I have come here in Crowd of CSE. I was unaware about the College curriculumm initially but later i found that Curriculum is relevent . Not unwanted Subject. Curriculum is Nice as Up to date . Up till now i am satisfied with my curriculum. There are two exams in each semester one is mid sem and one is End sem which is of 50 marks and 30 of mid sem. While Mid Sem is Some what we can say is hard as compared with the End Sem because of lack of preperation of the student. College is too strict about exams As ther is no Chance of cheating in the exam .

Nomura is one of the top Recrutier of the Interns . Walmart also has given Internship oppurutunites to the Seniors and many more. Overal Internship is nice if The Student work harder then ther is high probabilty that he/she will get the Internship.

No as i head from the Senior The Placement is Some what average . Not too much low not too much high. The average Package of this year 2025 was around 17 lakhs which is decent . The highest package was 45 lakhs. Around 51 percent was placed in this year. Major Companies that hired are Amazon,Bosch, Juspay, Walmart and many more. From the starting of Fourth Year Company Starts visiting college Campus. As Today 9 Sep 2025 One Company has held the interview which in which around 5 student were hired.

First Year fees for me was Rs 278750 only academic fees while on other hand mess fees was aroung 35385 with 5000 as secuirty and 30385 as hostel and mess was around 22000 for the first sem and 18000 for the second sem. So total was around 389520. While in Second Year College academic fees is around 271750 and mess fees is 20000 for both the semseter and Hostel fees is increased to 35385 for each semester so the total fees is around for the second year is around 382520. Academic fees for the 3rd Year for me will be 271750 and for 4th year will be 272750. While Till now the hostel fees is aroung 35585 and mess fees is 20000. But can't predict the fees about the hostel and mess in the future. But if we consider that hostel and mess fees is around as same as today then total fees will be around 15 to 15.5 lakhs.

In the new Campus , Campus is nice , Hosel is Good and mess is average . As with Hostel And Mess Do not expect more. But Yes College is Good with having sports facilty like Badminton court . Cricket ,basketball and football are under construction and will be done around last of this year. Security is tight. Clubs are active. There are tooo much clubs like Arambh, Saaz, Quantnum ,Abhinay and many more. In these clubs students can go through there interview prices. Clubs Are good and create a leadership abilty in the Student. As i m in the quantum too. Library is accessible with almost all usefull books.

In the Hostel There will be given ethernet port and wire. One almirah and one bed . In the bed you need to bring your own gaddi. One balcony is also there which is also nice. Mess Food is average with 4 time Schedule. In Morning Nasta is given around 8am to 9:30 am. And Luch is froom 12:30 to 2:30 . There is evening snack which is average aroung 5 pm. Dinner is aroung 8 pm to 9:30 which is decent. There is not PG or room around the college Campus. Near PG is Around 4-5km In dy patil.

This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. Its General Cutoff is high and OBc too.

In my class faculty to Student ratio is aroung 1 to 123 but it vary with classes and size. Faculty to student relationship we can say is Nice with some of them and it is poor with Some. But teacher in 1st Year are nice while iin the second year There are some bad too, but overall we can say nice . My favourite teacher in this college is Math teacher Dr Jatin Majhitia as he is so humble in nature i like him because his way of teaching skill is amazing . He has also has the Lecture of his Subject on Youtube with Channel name Dr Matholic . His is the Math king of the college. Dr Subham Shukla is my second Favourite as his skill for DLD is amazing. I don't like some of the teachers some of thte teacher because there only come in class to waster time. Some of them they do not have experience as too be required. But Some of them are too good. In each semester there is mid sem and end sem of 30 and 50 marks respectively and 20 marks are in hand of the professor who only they can decide how to give. Exam are moderate not too easy not too hard. Soome of them fail , but i can say that if we work hard you can surely pass.

There are two boys hostel. Gym is going to be installed by november with the Last of this year in both Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel. There are Jamming Session, Night Dance and DJ night for the Students. Hostel is nice with Solar heater in water and Most important is that Ethernet which speed is upto 800 Mbps and WIfii facility is avaliable. Mess As Good but we cannot say that it is too good. College is Between the Beautiful Mountains in Talegaon.
