Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to get a government job. So i choose chemical engineering here. The curriculum is industry ready. The teaches of my branch are very good. We have lots of labs and practical classes, so we focus on practical learning rather than theory, which is very good. Exams are regularly held while main exams are two mid term and end sem. We regularly have class test.

Our students got internship in big companies like Google, Microsoft as a trainee role with maximum stipend recahing 2 Lakhs /month. We also got inter ships in IIT Bombay, IIT DELHI etc. Our college is vey good in internships and placement

Our annual fest name is MOKSHA, which is awesome where students actively participate. Almost all required books are available in library. Our classrooms are well equppied with projectors, speakers, good benches etc. We have a very huge sports complex.

Admission

I was initially alotted cse in some GFTI, but i wanted a government college and also my financial condition is weak. So i left them and took chemical engineering here in NIT.My college take admission through JEE exam.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is abou 1:10.Faculties especially for 1st year students are not that much copperative with students. But from 2 nd year the faculties are great. We have two exams per semester mid term and end term. You can pass easily with good marks if you study 2 hours daily after classes . Our courses are industry ready.

Night Life

3

At night we go to Canteen and have late night coffee, Maggi with our friends. We need to be in hostels by 9 :00 pm. Yes our campus is safe and well guarded so we can roam freely withou fear. Canteens usually close after 9:00 pm.

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.
