Campus and there views and security are very good
Labs and there facilitys that they provide to student

Professors they show verry attitude to cse students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was a mixture of old and new but more into old course curriculum college needs a new age teacher that don't teach from slides only but actually gives some knowledge. The frequency of exams was very often they come really fast

Placement Experience

The placement was ok not really good not really bad and most of the campany that come in our campus were mass recruiters some MNCs also come, like Google but they take very low students from smit like 2-3 students

Fees and Financial Aid

364000 yearly tution fee Cution fees 10000 Registration fees 500 40% scholarship is your rank is less than 3lakh in jee 30% if 3lakh to 5 lakh rank in jee 20% if 5lakh to 6 lakh rank in jee If you are from sikkim then your tution fees is 8 lakh for 4 year 20% scholarship for army sons

Campus Life

The campus life is okay and there no overcrowding issues like other colleges in smit the club culture was not that good; many are inactive many are active, but you can't see any active clubs here. Most of them are inactive

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good veeerrey gooood campare to price and Indian colleges hostel and in smit they provide sapreat bathroom to each room and bed or study table and 2 day room cleaning and daily free news paper

Hostel Fee: INR 134500 per year

Admission

I choice smit becouse of Manipal brand value that other tier 3 college can't give me and in smit there is atleast a liveable condition compare to other tier 3 college like gl bajaj golgotias and kiet Gaziabad

Faculty

The behaviour of faculty is mix some prof are good and some are bad and exam system are good Marking scheme are really strict but you can pass easily study wise college is very strict and the timetable was very hectic

Night Life

There is no nightlife in smit bcoz at 12 am the boys hostel has been closed, and at 11 pm the girls' hostel has been closed the night canteen only open till 2 am

first impressions

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards. companies in which some of the big names are DELL, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, STATE STREET, KEYSIGHT TECH . The highest package is 54 LPA (google) and avg package was around 4-5 LPA. 80% students get placements. my plan is to pursue m.tech

Placement Experience:

Placement is all about your preparation as opportunities come too much but if you have power then crack that one. Highest was going in 2024 batch is 44 lpa and 66 percent was placed as there are recession going on this time due to covid all market crases.

Joined wisely

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem the campus placement starts so sutdents gets plenty of time to prepare for placements The company being visited to the campus includes Mercedes Benz India, Maruti Suzuki, Microsoft etc Hightest package ranges upto 33 lakhs and average include upto 5lakhs College offers 100% placements except Civil My plans is to get some of the working experience with the company being placed

Yeah replacement system I am not family or with this placement in all because had just recently join not just recently it's been like one and half year but also in placement system I am not focusing on that side because you know what I don't rely on this college I just need degree from this college and just want to be independent and search for job business on my own this collage is just waste of time still I am saying this tho I cannot do anything about this because I am already in second year so if I leave this college now I have no other option to do better option to do so I am I am stock in this college you can say and replacement system everything is just fine not so much good not

Placement Experience:

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

Review of NIT Sikkim

Placement Experience:

If you are capable enough you will be getting decent placements, Overall placement statistics lies about 80-90% with an average pacakage of 9-10 lacs per annum including 90-95% for CSE, ECE. EEE and almost 80-85% for core branches like Mechanical and Civil. Some of major past recruiters are CDAC, CDOT, BEL, VEDANTA, DELOITTE, MAHINDRA, MARUTI SUZUKI, UKG, GENPACT, BPCL, L&T, ALSTOM, NVIDIA, MICROSOFT, SLB, TERADATA, CGI and many others. Highest pacakage for the batch of 2023-24 was 44 LPA by NVIDIA and average was around 9.95 LPA. From start of the 7th semesters , the students can register themselves for placements and from 5th semester onwards student can register themselves for internship opputunities. NIT Sikkim also provide opportunities of highes studies like PhD from reputed institutes like IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi and some other prominent institutions as well.

SMIT a good option Option for collage If searching something near Northeast India.

Placement Experience:

The overall placement rate was around 90% the highest offered to passout student was INR 35 LPA furthermore The SMIT Average package stood at inr 6 LPA . We have Training and placement cell at sikkim manipal institute of technology to facilitate placement oppurtunities.

From 5 th semester student can apply for internships and after 6th semester they can apply for placements. The average package is 7 lakh per annum and highest is based upon recession and market structure. Last year one senior got 44 lpa package from Nivida.

NIT Sikkim overall review

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th sem and placement was good before but In this 2024 batch it's the worst placement of all time only 58% students got placement with less package because of recession Im looking for a placement and further plan is to work for a company

Joined wisely

I was selected in for Downtown university but for my personal ease i choose to study in SMIT. No i was not being rejecte form any colleges. Due to some of my personal problems i decided to joing SMIT as wishing to study at the college situated over my own state.
