Course Curriculum Overview

I have a family business and by choice i opted for the BBA course and it helps me gain more knowledge about business and go more deeper into each aspects of running a business and earning profits and making huge

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After completion of 2nd year , college offers a 2 wekk internship for each and every students. They provide the internship in order to let students gain extra knowledge and help to get even more successful in their respective fields

Placement Experience

The students have a good academic record till the pre final years are the one eligible for placement drives and campus placement. companies like accenture , infosys, sell, etc have shown interest in selecting candidates from SMIT

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for Bba course is ?10600 if you exclude mess which is being provided by the college, the pricing will be even lesser if a person opt out for hostel and stay in Pg I don't have a veryuch knowledge about scholarship but if a student does ug and pg

Campus Life

I would like to say that the campus is very much lively with some of the other events taking place like the KaalRav the biggest fest of North Bengal and the biggest business fest Athens takes place in our campus , students from different colleges come to participate in different events like dance , e games , fashion show , etc

Admission

My parents wanted my to experience outer world but the didn't want me to go a very far distance, so according to my preference they go me admitted in this college for My Bachelors Degree, As my home is in Siliguri so Sikkim was out of town also but not too far from Siliguri and even SMIT had a great name of its own

Faculty

Exams in our college are conducted in a 5 way system , the total marks for each semester is 100, now the paper is divided in internal and external marks. The exams are quiet easy if a student studies , if he thinks of getting marks without studying,then he should not be in college

Night Life

The place named Majhitar where our college is located is not a very well developed place so night life of this place is dull almost all shops and restaurants gets cold by 9:30 pm at night and nothing is functional after 9:30 in this place

My graduation journey of BBA

Placement Experience:

There was no placement facilities in the college honestly. I have suffered so many years but I got a job in Bank after facing so many interviews So if you are thinking that Sikkim Manipal University provide you the placement facilities, don't make a dream like this. It is bitter truth that the college does not provide any placement

Placement Experience:

After reaching 6th semester the students get eligible for placement. The students are trained too for the placement process.. The companies visited in our clg are Bajaj finance,HDFC Bank, Moengage,KPMG, UNIQLO etc. The highest package offered till now to my knowledge is provided by Moengage.. The package was 9.25LPA. Regarding the % of students getting placed i think it's 50 % the opportunity is provided to all but to get placed its totally upto the students. My plans after completion of my degree is to get placed in a good company as a manager. Work for 1-2 years and join iim for MBA .

Nice college for distance education

Remarks:

Initially they were providing the weekend classes to the students but later they stopped doing this. So I want them to continue that things with online lectures

Entrance Preview:

No Entrance required as I applied for BBA. I selected this course because I am already working as an associate for an organisation. So I wanted to enhance my career path. Joined wisely

I was selected in for Downtown university but for my personal ease i choose to study in SMIT. No i was not being rejecte form any colleges. Due to some of my personal problems i decided to joing SMIT as wishing to study at the college situated over my own state.
