Course Curriculum Overview
Currently i had chosen btech in computer science and engineering, but in first sem they are teaching us basics including basic electronic engineering, computational programming, calculus, and they also teach various others like innovation, environmental study and learning and writing skills
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 110000 for tuition fee per sem and 65000 for hostels yearly maybe, i dint go for any scholarship until now. Im trying national scholarship portal. Im obc ncl category. So the fees is same as general.
Campus Life
Yeah there are many clubs including sports club, ecell - business oriented club, local host - coding based club and many other literature club etc. Nearly 15 clubs i guess, there are various tournament of sports including until now there was chess and badminton tournament. There is also a library but being a new campus there isnt much books. And there are many festivals one recently was they brought ganesh in campus and we celebrated ganesh chaturti for 3 days.
Hostel Facilities
As this is a new campus we dont get a good wifi, we dont get hot water to bath, but besides there are 3 lan ports for a 4 person room !! So one of us have to give hotspots through laptop. There is no gym no cafeteria. The mess food is kind of ok until now. The admission process was the worst, we had to wait for 4-5 hours for admission where i and my parents didnt even had lunch, which was worst experience i ever had here.
Admission
I tried to get into nit suratkal but due to my jee mains ranking i couldn't, so i couldn't have got any nit so i tried to get iiit and the best iiit as i found having best placements and nearest to where i live was iiit pune so i joined it. For iiit u have to write jee mains and i guess u have to get less than 30k ranking.
Faculty
The faculty is a lot interactive and helpful, they are not easily approachable but they are interactive and promot us to ask more snd more doubts. As i am a fresher i currently know very less faculties and very less do i know about exams too.
Night Life
As this is a new campus we have hostel mess, but there is no cafeteria, and there is also no gm until now which they are planning to make. As this is a perfect hill statiom so its a good environment. There are security guard all near hostel at night so it is safe at night.
