JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

The ECE curriculum offers a good balance of core subjects line Analog/Digital Electroncis , Communication System along with programming courses, The lab session complemet theory well and the syllabus builds a base for exams like GATE and higher studies, However it is somewhat outdated andlacks emerging areas like AI/ML in Electronics and advanced VLSI, More industry-oriented projects, internships and hands-on workshops could make it more relevant. Teaching is often theory-heavy, shift towards practical problem-solving assessments would improve the overall learning experience.

For internship few company visits our campus for SDE role woth a very good stipend like it totally depend on the company how much they can offer but it likely to be 60000 to 70000 that is only for cse like paypal, Adobe, Cohesity thats it but yeah in the basis of your perfomance you will get PPO. But offcampus if you can grab it then its BINGO!

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

I am paying almost 15000 per year as Becasue my annual income is less than one lakh my tuition fee is 0. The caution fee is 5000, admission fee is 1000, development fee is 5000, medical fee is 1200, student activity fee is 1000, grade card fee is 500, id card fee is 200, grade card fee is 500 and all other fee is 2425 but it may varies semester to semester. The actual fee is 80000 per year but if your annual income is ranges between 1lakhs to 5 lakhs then you have to pay nearly 27000 that is 1/3rd of total tuition fee. There will be many scholarhsip is there for first year students if you are come from obc and st/sc category those are first is FFE Scholrship which provides nearly 50000 per year and second is ONGC Scholarhsip which provide 48000 per year student can get benifits of only one of them scholrships.

The technical festival helds every year named AYAAM and cultural fest called MOKSHA which is not guranteed to be held due to unknown reasons but we altogether celebrated lots of festival with joy as studetns comes across the india with diffrent cultures . In Library plenty of books are available related to academics , novels and jorunals with a very huge diversity. The facilities is within the clasroom is basically surrounded with the projectors and the desktops. Yes you can participate and play any sports of your interest senior will guide you thorugh this and you will get chance to represent your college in diffrents nits and iits . There is club called WECAN which provide facililities to teach children in our neighbhourhood like the kids outside the campus. This is very intractive and appriciable club of nita as they taught kids who can not afford that level of education.

There are 2 boys hostels and 1 girl hostel and for girls till 3rd year you have to share your room and in 4th year inly you get single room but in the case of boys after 1st year they get single rooms. Over all facilities is good and meal is fixed for whole week , quality is okay okay. Registraion process was very smooth like you dont have to feel rush and all it is super simple and you have to pay 25000 to 30000 per semester for as a hostel fee.

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch. The entire admission process is well-structured and moslty online, whoch made it easier to track seat allotments and make choices.

The facalty is very generous but yeah not all of them are same, but if you talk nicely and behave good you will definately establish good bond with your faculites. My 5th semester teacher her name is shikha maurya. She is very genuine and helps you to guide. I won't take any fauclty name but yeah the management officers behaves very badly sometimes which i dont like. In each semester, There will be two exams one is mid term and second is end term ,my branch is ECE and this is one of the toughest branch of our college but overall difficulty is average you can easlity maintain good cgpa And it depends how well you studied for you exams to not get back .

There is not nightlife in NIT Agartala because in girls hostel there is intime of 7:30 pm in summer and in winter it reduces to 7pm. Library is opened till 10pm. and canteens also opens till 8 or 8 pm thats it. Yes the localty is safe to roam inside the campus and the famous place is shopping complex most of the students use to go there in every eveining to freshen up their mood.
