Jadhavpur University (a dream come true)

There is nothing negative remarks about it. The college and it's facilities also faculties they are all awesome. I suggest students must apply for this college if they want a better future.Jadavpur University has the best social life. best faculties.one of the best placements and job opportunities.one of the strongest alumni network.in short. it's the best place to explore life. even some are in the University for the last 25 yrs. they did their BE from the University.then they did their ME and PhD also from the same University and now they have become teachers in the same University. So this is bond of the students with Jadavpur University.

I think the environment of college is awesome. You not only learn the subject but also moral values. You may take part in mountaning photography music club etc. One of the Best Institute among India. Exam structure is also good. Per semester you have to give 2 internals n 1 main paper. Questions levels are good.

Yes, placement plays an important role in college. Here I have to say that the placement is far better than 70% of colleges situated in India. Some of the time its ranking between tops IIT's. Actually in the engineering faculty doesn't provide internship. Other departments like ARTs Science I was unable to say that.

Sanskriti is the main event for our college. Different faculty have a different time to organise SANSKRITI. Apart from that Freshers day held by the individual department. Where senior gave some task to the 1st year students. Then Reunion day where we interact with seniors knows about our colleges their point of view regarding department or colleges or how to build up our careers. Then Holi Vishwakarma Saraswati puja is also famous in our college.

The fee structure is one of the lowest in the country I guess. because it's less than 10000 in 4 years collectively. precisely it's 2400 per year. I have not opted for hostel.but I have heard that per bed charge is Rs. 15 only. One cannot even imagine getting a BE degree from such a renowned college.

I haven't availed for any kind of scholarship programs.but I know of a scholarship program for the poor candidates.and also for the students admitted in quota. and it also has a scholarship program for the students with any kind of disability as far as I know.

The labs are not that great as they are old. but the equipments available in the lab are very good.I think they are replaced time to time. That's why they are really good. In sports, Jadavpur University is very active. There are separate clubs for each extra curricular activities such as the Jadavpur University Music Club, Jadavpur University Debating Society, Jadavpur University Drama Club and many more and each of them are very active.

The alumni network is really strong and most importantly they are very kind and very much helpful. They visit their alma mater regularly and they are very supportive to the advancement of the department.

When the admission started I applied online application form which is available in the official website of Jadhavpur University. After that I got the admit card for the entrance exam. I cleared the entrance and they called for interview.

One of the finest faculty. You can ask them anywhere anytime. It's like friendly environment with the faculties. If they free they will definitely help you. Everywhere there are some professors are not up to the mark but here you will get at least 80 per cent of them are good.
