Is National Institute of Technology Agartala still a good choice in 2025?

The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.These offered courses helps to broaden the student's perspective. The curriculum is credit-based, with each course assigned a certain number of credits. Generally, the mathematics exam is hard and this is the subject where a lot of students fail to get minimum passing marks. The exam is conducted at two timings - One in the morning and the other in afternoon.

Students become eligible for internship from the third year and many find opportunities from the college's placement cell. The location of our college pose some barrier to placement but it's still great.The year 2023 was a great success with more than 90% students placed with 52 lpa highest package offered.A lot of students also get offer from companies like Google, microsoft, oracle, infosys etc.

This is my second year at National institute of technology Agartala.The fees I paid last year was around 2.2 lakhs.It included hostel fees,mess fees, tution fees and some extra nominal fees. The tution fees is around 70,000 per semester.So, basically it sums to around 1,40,000 per year.The hostel fees is around 30,000 per semester.The mess fees is included with the hostel fees.We also need to pay for development fees, WiFi fees etc. Our college also offers scholarship to the students.Students below 5 lakhs family income are given remission in the fees. Those who are below 1 lakh family income are given 100% fees remission and those who are below 5 lakhs family income are given around 60% fees remission.Also, you can apply for scholarship like NSP. Overall, this is a good and affordable college where you can get good academic knowledge.

I am enjoying my college life at National institute of technology Agartala.The beautiful and green campus will make you feel better even if you are stressed out. But there are some downsides of this college too.A very few fests and events are conducted here, don't know why? But the library and sports complex are top notch in the North Eastern region.The library have more than 30,000 thousand books and offering a wide range of academic resources .The library provides comfortable reading arrangements and natural light to lit the whole environment. The sports complex have two huge indoor stadium providing facilities including badminton, basketball, tennis court etc. There are more than 3 ground for cricket , football, hockey and other athletic events. There are several clubs including coding club, art club, business club, dance and music club and a lot more.You will surely find a club of your interest.

The hostel provided in the first year are great, have enough spacing for two students.The good thing is that there are only two students per room. In other government colleges, generally there are three students in per room. You are provided single room from 3rd year. The food quality in the first year is not good at all but you see a huge upgrade in the food quality from 2nd year. There are separate mess for boys and girls.Also, the mess are separated for senior and junior.The registration process for hostel is simple and quite affordable.

I secured AIR around 33,000 in JEE in the year 2024. It's a decent rank and I wanted to get admission into a college that have both good academics and beautiful campus.So, National institute of technology Agartala seemed to fit at the right spot. National Institute of Technology Agartala has a huge and beautiful campus spread on around 350 acres of land.The infrastructure is modern and beautiful.You can get decent branch at a decent rank That's the reason why is chose this college. The admission procedure is simple, you can get the reporting information on the official site of Nit Agartala.It is generally in the mid of August.The admission procedure will go smoothly as there will be a lot of person to guide you throughout your admission.No need to worry.

Many faculty members are well-qualified, with many holding PhDs from IITs and foreign universities.They are helpful, supportive and are always willing to assist us.The faculty to student ratio is also good.While some of the students are concerned about the teaching quality of certain faculty members. The teaching quality could be improved in certain areas. Two main exams are conducted every semester here.So, total of 4 exams in a year. Class tests and practical exams are also conducted.You can achieve a decent score If you attend the classes consistently. Giving 2 hours daily to your study is more than enough If you are attending all the classes. The curriculum at NIT Agartala varies by department and degree program (B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, PhD).The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.

The class timing is from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. generally with 2 hours of break. After the classes, we generally hang out with friends, I personally enjoy a walk in the campus. Everyone got their stuff to do after the classes, some enjoy playing sports, some just lay down in their room and relax, some go to the gym etc. The girls are not allowed to go out from their hostel after 10 o'clock at the night. There's no limitations on the boys hostel, we can go anywhere in the campus at night whenever we want to. There's still a need of night cafeteria in my college, as there's no source in the college to get something to eat at the night.
