Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum was very defined and was very revelent to todays needs and that made me choose this curriculum. The curriculum though can include AI and machine learning prospects in it as now its the growing need, along with that real life project works can be included which also can be benificial for the overall development. The frequency of the exams were moderate and was easy but needs less intervation of day to day classes and need a detailed exam day for that part.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college provides internship opportunities from 3rd year onward one in Summer and one for winter respectively. The Company that visits include Microsoft, Amazon, TLC, ONGC, AAI, etc. The internships can be from various fields like core, IT, management, etc. The internships can be sometimes paid and sometimes just provide industrial training but both provides the internship certificates.

Placement Experience

3

NIT Agartala provides intership facilities from 3rd year onwards while the full fleged Placements commence from July onwards, which runs upto May the next year. The final year students are only eligible for placements. The Companies that visit includes Amazon,Google,Microsoft,Cisco,Nvidia,Airtel,Reliance,L&T,Wipro,Infosys, etc. The highest package was about 50Lacs from CRED while the average package stands at around 9lacs. Around 89% students who applied for placements got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tution fee for my batch of 2025 was around 42K, registration fee was 2K, admission fee was around 4200, development fee from 500 and including all other expenses its about 100000 per year. The students based on different annual incomes get lowered from 42k to 14k. The students can also avail scholarships like: ONGC MERIT SCHOLARSHIP, NSP 2.O Scholarships for SC,ST and North-East Students, etc.

Campus Life

5

The overall campus life was good as we were provided with all the entertainments facilities needed such as Gyms, Parks, Sports Area, Creative Zones, Food Stalls, Shopping Complex which are needed for survival. The classrooms had Projectors, mics, elecytricity backups for smooth functioning. The Library was full with books from old to new editions. We had annual Convocations, Tech fests(Aarambh) and Cultural fests(Moksha) , and also celebrate each festival with great enthusiasm. We also had different clubs, majorly Fine Arts Club, E-cell, DCCNITA, Pixel, etc.

Admission

Firstly my college is the no.1 college in my state and the second after NIT Silchar in the northeast region. The Admission was done via JOSAA which was the platform for enrollment which uses JEE Mains marks for enrollment. My college provides the best in its beauty, accomodation, vividness and placements and hence became the top choice for any graduates looking for the admission.

Faculty

2

There was 4 faculties for a class of about 120 students and there were very approachable. I liked Atanu Choudhury, Tamasi Maurya every much thery were fully dedicated to the students and the subjects. I disliked Apangshu Das, Partha Kumar Deb, Manas Rakshit, Smita as they were not good to students in behaviour at all. There were 2 exams in a semester aka mid term and end term respectively. Mostlyeveryone passed the exams always, except the subject taken by Partha Kumar Deb where about half the class got back.

Night Life

5

The nightlife is also good we got lights all over the campus and the Shopping complex was the best place for food, or anything needed to buy as on immediate basis. The gyms were open till late night along with the badminton play zone for sports activities. The college had Amul Cafe and Parlours along with Nestle Cafe for food and beverages.

The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.
