Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good according to me. I have chosen history Hons because I want to prepare forcivil services so this subject will help me in gaing the knowledge and would be helpful through my competitive journey

Internships Opportunities

4

There are not so much opportunities here but the placement was decent with 70% lwith companies like Google and Amazon. They hired students from maths and computer science honors and provided a package of 10lpa

Placement Experience

3

From 5th semester students become eligible for placements. Google , Amazon and many more companies visited the campus. Highest package was 10lakhs whereas average placement was 3-4 lpa. Percentage of student placed is not good . It may be 70-80%. Mtlb plan was appear for competitive exams

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year I paid 11000 . Thenfor the second year I paid 12000 and for the third year I paid 12500. It increased every year. But the fees was minimal and it was not too high for the course.Apart from this examination fees of 500 was taken every semester

Campus Life

4

The annual festival was named euphoria typically held during month of February every year.Apart from this various sports events and departmental fest are being organized every year. the library is equipped with every books that the curriculum asks for.tgere are various student run groups like startup club and dance society

Admission

I applied for delhi university and Scottish college and jadavpur university.o got confirmed admission from all the college's but I chose Delhi University because it is one of the top universities with experienced and knowledgeable professors. The admission process was simple. First you have fill the form. Then wait for the cut off list if your 12th percentage is greater or equal to the cut off you can grab the seat. But now the process has been changed . Now you have to appear for CUET exam if you pass the exam and clear the cut off for the prescribed college you can get an admission. During my time the cut off was 80 . The best four subject is chosen.

Faculty

4

The faculty to teacher ratio was acceptable. there were many teachers in history department. The best teacher I found there was Abhishek sir and Namita Ma'am. They were very helpful and also explains every topic well. The faculty I don't like was sir sachin and Reena ragi ma'am because they just read out the topics and don't explained it well. The worst teacher was krishna murari sir. He never came to the class and tauggt us anything

Night Life

4

The cafeteria of college was good. It has nice decent and hygienic food. The college is accessible to nearby areas which has numbers of cafes and public parks and gyms. Students can roam out at night and enjoy in Satyam niketan which has various clubs and cafes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally enjoy the course a lot. Greek philosophy is by far my favourite subject so far as it's super interesting and actually fun to read and understand. Logic and ethics are also good. They’re challenging but manageable once you get the hang of the concepts. The curriculum is detailed and gives a good foundation if you want to study further in philosophy or related areas like law, civil services, etc. The subjects change every semester so it doesn’t get boring. Exams happen twice a year (end semester), and most of them are okay in terms of difficulty. If you’re regular with classes and practice PYQs, it becomes easier.

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams
