Our fest Engie fest too is the most sought after fest of Delhi.

Dislikes

Campus isn't as good like it is clean but very tiny compared to a university campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

BAE is one course which if you are from Arts background and want a secured future course then this is the one. Our curriculum deals with geo politics and all. Our course also discusses the mad man theory and thus it teaches way more then mere macro and micro economics aspect. So, if one wants to have economics in their veins like salt then they can refer DTU Economics course.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 116000 per year

Placement Experience

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hello I am Raghav Swaroop and in my final year at DTU. I am pursuing BAE and the fees that I have paid on and average is around 3 lakhs for 3 years. So round figure it was around 1 lakhs a year and I feel at this price a university like DTU deserves an applause. So affordability wise it's as good as any top university.

Campus Life

Off late our campus has started organizing Dandiya Nights. It has been so good that that night is by far the best event hosted at our east campus. Main fest of DTU is still hosted by the main campus. Our campus has 5 buildings in all and out of which the one main building is of USME. There's one canteen and a garden which hosts our programs.

Admission

If one wants to study economics in Delhi, they all know that SRCC is the one and I also tried my best but failed with a margin. For SRCC the cut was over 759 for DTU it was close to 600 in 2023. My score was over 650 and that was the reason why DTU welcomed me with open arms.

Faculty

BAE faculties of USME has been rated as the best in business. The following reasons which I am about to state are the ones why there are the best. Some of our professors have taught in global universities. Some of them has served as economics advisors in European organizations and gold medal is definitely a small thing then but they are medalists too.

Night Life

Our campus don't have facility of hostel and thus it closes by 6 pm. USME classes both for BAE and BBA ends by 2 pm so our college students are seen hanging out at nearby places like unity one mall and cross river mall.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU has the best academic scheduling!

Placement Experience:

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Explore insights of DTU

I secured 96 percentile in jee and I was getting quite decent NITs but lower branch here in DTU I have environmental engineering I was getting the same in nsut and mechanical in igtuw, the admission in DTU is done through jac councelling there are 5 online rounds and 2 physical rounds , internal upgradation of branches is also there. I choose DTU over other choices because of its brilliant faculty of environmental engineering and diverse amount of technology present to study environmental engineering and it's location being delhi is also a plus.
