Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I have maths in my 12th standard and I had keen interest in maths so that's the only reason I want to opted for this course. Couse curriculum and teaching methods are good but teachers could be little bit helpful for the 3rd year students as they can be little bit helpful as students are bussy in their future academic plans.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are lots of companies that offered internships with stipend but a detailed analysis about this can be only given by a placement society students as they are the keen part of it There are lots of projects that companies provide for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 13000 rs for the 1st year of the college and paid the same amount of rupees for 2nd 3rd year. In Every semester you have to pay exam which can vary from course to course as if you have practical subjects then extra 200 rs per practical will be added to your exam fee. Sc / St and OBC didn't get any fee concession in exam fee. For the general category they paid ig 2000 or 3000 rs more than SC / St students. There are loats of scholarships and financial aid that have given students who are economically weak or they get good grades in 12th or gets good marks in college exams.

Campus Life

5

There are a book fare that is organising by college per year. And seminars and lectures is organised by different different college societies on a regular basis Library is also good and have almost every book of every course and easy to issue also In Sports events there is a event which is organised by college per year College Fests are also there.

Admission

I also had applied for the Hindu st Stephen's But didn't get it because of low marks in cuet ug. My third prefence was this Kirori Mal college For the admission we have to apply for the college and have to freeze the option given when college were allocated in the counsiling session. After that you have to pay registration fee and have to verify your documents physically as well.

Faculty

4

Faculties are actually good and easy to access. They are easily available and tried their best to helps students. Exams are easy no that much tough to crack you can score decent after studying in classes properly. Checking are done on a linent level.

Interview Experience

4

For the college societies interviews I far interviews and written exams It were moderate level exams I didn't do something extraordinary but just got basic knowledge about societies and some general knowledge

Night Life

5

Gym is also a good thing college. There is a personal trainer and free to use. Library also closes 8 pm every day except Sunday. Hostels are also good.. affordable and in good condition. There lots of Places to visit around the college area..sushama chai..arts faculty..kamla Nagar etc

The curriculum is well disciplined and we are able to choose courses and it provide practical knowledge of the theories and also we are able to implement them and the area of improvement in the curriculum is that they can increase the number of periods for the like every subject because the number of period is very less they should increase it the frequency of exam is semester wise and the difficulty is like moderate

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
