A honest review on vit vellore .

Curriculum in vit openly selective we need to complete 162 credits in four years and one foreign language also we need to learn in vit and one open elective course ( nothing but some social courses ) . Vit offers some credits for internship and student whose is having cgp more than 9 (75%) attendance is not mandatory.

As teaching in the vit is based on industry requirement and the tasks or projects given by the vit is according to the industry. so i would think when you perform well you can crack better internships ( companies are motorq, paypal .etc)

as i am fresher i am un aware of placements but overall i heard from my seniors that average package of cse is more than 10lpa which is sufficient for basic needs . Vit also provides internship facilities better than other colleges.

my btech fees structure is ( 4.5 lakhs in acadeics ) and ( 1.5 lakhs in hostel) . the admission fees for the college is 15000 and caution deposit of the hostel is 15000 . i have chosen a 6 sharing ac bed with Non - VEG mess . hostel fees varies for type of room and no of people in the room and type of mess you prefer .

In VIT overall whole year two main fests will be conducted GRAVITAS ( it is a technical fest ) and second one RIVIERA ( it is a cultural fest ) both the fests will be with a duration of week where many hackathons and cultural events will be conducted.

Vit hostel is four types ( AC , NON -AC, DELUXE ,APARTMENT) you will be charged according to the type of hostel you chose and premises of hostel will be good . mess ( veg , non veg special ) in special mess some extra benifits will be avialable compared to normal mess ( like juice, cornflkes ,chocos ,soups ..etc) . overall value for money .

As i got clarified regarding i counldn't join in government institutes like ( IIT ,NIT) so i prefered vit ( aas bits is more than my budget ) so i prefered VIT . Overall vit is good which proovides better placements compared to other colleges and satisfied with the college overall.

Generally VIT provide ( FFCS) where you can chose your own faculty so when we enquire every thing we can chose better faculty . basically VIT conducts two mid term tests of 15 marks weightage and two quiz of 10 marks weightage and one assesment of 10 marks weightage. In Vit grafding will be relative in theory and absoute in labs.

well thre are more than 200 clubs in the vit vellore when the main events all the maximum clubs will provide night slip ehre you practise for the events or arrange the equipments for events . timings of hostel is mens need to come to before 9 o clock in the premises in the hostel.
