Remarks

Timings are amazing. The syllabus is easy so it's beneficial for us to cope up with other courses along with bcom. The exams conducted doesn't take into consideration our other exams at all. They don't give timetables for classes or exams on time. They don't tell us the closing and opening date for college. Becomes very difficult for outstation students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is extremely easy . We have 2 semesters every year and each semester has two exams. One internal(20 marks) and one final (50 marks). There are only 4 subjects each semester. There are even seminars and other kinds of projects given to the students to help them score better.

Placement Experience

4

I'm in the third year so I don't know about the placements. But I heard they are pretty good. The brochure for the companies that are connected is there on our website. No internships are provided by our college for good.

College Events

3.5

Students fest, educational fest, independence day, republic day, Saraswati puja, inter college competitions, farewell, annual programme and sports day. Basically all the general ones are conducted and it's so much fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This totally varies from person to person. For me, it's a little expensive because in my view point it's not worth spending so much for bcom and it doesn't even use it wisely. We are charged for few stuffs even when it's paid with the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any scholarships . I don't think they provide any kind of scholarships in my college. Loan facility is again something I'm not aware of. I haven't availed any of them nor have i heard anyone taking them.

Campus Life

3

The labs are good and so are their teachers. We don't have a very big ground for sports but we are taken out during sports day. Internal sports are there. In the ground we can play badminton. Dance and other activities are done during fears. We go for rowing too.

Alumni/Alumna

Never reached out to the alumni network but the seniors were amazing. They were extraordinarily helpful. There was no ragging. They loved us and helped us in every way possible. They were intelligent, fun and sincere.

Admission

Firstly, we applied in the college by filling the forms. Based on our marks, they had uploaded a list of students who qualified for the interview. The interview was taken and then the students were further selected to finally join . The list of students who got the admission , was published

Faculty

3.5

It's average. Few teachers are just beyond amazing and few are just good. The teachers who are good literally teach so well that you barely have to study again before the exam. The proper notes are given and the teacher helps you individually in solving the problems.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.
