Remarks

The college management is very professional and structured. All the events and lectures are organized. The student's overall growth is the prime focus.

College Events

There are various events being celebrated in ours. We have inter Jim's competition, celebrity night, aungunj and even we have zest and dandiya night in which we have various events like solo singing, group singing, solo dancing, group dancing, folk dancing, fashion show, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No . I Did not opt for scholarship and educational loans. The fees is funded by my parents. The fees is yearly .

Campus Life

Labs are a part of every semester. Debate competitions are held in college and students are kept aware of competitions in other colleges. Other extracurricular activities are like slogan making article writing that enhances personality skills. The students are always kept engaged in activities to develop their soft skills and confidence.

Admission

The admission process was very systematic and fair. Initially, an entrance exam was conducted. And after clearing this entrance exam the college conducted three rounds of counseling in which colleges were allotted to the students on the basis of the preferences filled by the students.

Faculty

The teachers are extremely supportive and teaching methodology is filled with examples and real-life scenarios. The lectures are engaging and the faculty is very knowledgeable. every doubt is addressed by faculty. The lectures are interactive and filled with learnings.

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I would give 4 stars for the course as I think various improvements can be made... The course should be made more practical and also more practical knowledge should be given rather theoretical knowledge. Digital learning should be given more focus and yeah frequency and timings are good

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.

For studying in JIMS Kalkaji you can get the form online through their official portal and eligibility is that you have to be graduate. Appication fees is 1000Rs. And application dates are felxible.Regarding reservations the college accept students who gave any competitive exam for PGDM course and last dates are as per the college site which mainly is in end of July. The difficulty level of exam is average. And personally talking about my admission ,it was quite smooth and the faculty was also very knowledgeable and friendly.
