College is really nice. Changes the persona. Just it lacks on infrastructure. Fees are very less. Faculty is decent. Placements are really good. Reputation is very very good. For many it is dream institute.

CET Now it is JEE, I dont remember exact score but to get civil engineering in VJTI, scores should in range of 98%tile.

It is good. More exhaustive than Mumbai uni and Pune university syllabus. All concepts of Civil engg are covered. Design, structural engg, environment, materials, etc.

College doesn't give/arrange any opportunity for internships.One has to manage on own. Students managed to get internships in good cos. mostly unpaid in civil engg. Learning experience is phenomenal.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra. 100% Placements. For civil avg package should be around 4-4.2 lacs/annum or so.Reputation is good. So many big names offer jobs. l and T gammon Lodha Uhde and many many more.

At my time, VJTI was quite active in sports, extra curriculum, etc. Cultural fest was one of the biggest. Sports was vital part of VJTI. I have heard it has changed nowadays. Now institute has become more focussed on curriculum only.

One of the cheapest in India. Fees were in range of 30kk. Now not more than 50k. For reserved caste studentlesser around 50% of the normal fees. Loan facilities are also there.

Many banks have loans facilities with VJTI. SBI and BOM are some the major ones.I didn't have any loan. But SBI is there in campus itself. Very helpful staff. Many scholarships are there. Castewise, minority scholarships. Etc.

Campus life was nice. Quadrangle was the heart of it. Events, matches etc. During college fest whole CLG used to be live..Pratimbim is cultural festEnthusiasm is sports festTechnovanza is technical fest.Gender ratio is male weighed, my batch had 30% girls. Maharashtrians, Gujarathi Marwaris, etc. Diversity is there. Students from all economic statures.

It's govt institute so infrastructure wise it lags. Hostels aren't very good. And not all applicants get hostels.

College arranges alumni meet every year. Alumni network is quite active. This one of the oldest institutes in the country. 127 yrs old. So very strong alumni base.

2 small exams and 1 end semi exam every in every semester. 30% marks for class participation, etc. 2 small exams have 20 marks weightage, End semi exam has 50 marks weighatage. 10 marks for surprise tests. Grading system is CGPA.

Faculty is good. Improvement can be possible. Major lecturers are Ph.D in respective fields. Many MTech lecturers are also there for teaching. Labs are there. Field testing and site visits are also arranged on regular basis. Some of the teachers are reall
