Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum of the Central University of Haryana is also very good. I chose this course because i have to do some government jobs with some practicality like in railways , roadways etc. and I chose this course in this particular college because the civil engineering of this university is the bestest in all of the Central Universities in India. This curriculum prepares me for real world applications or further academic pursuits as our teachers take us to the labs and workshops to show us the practical examples so that we can prepare for the real world application of anything we have learnt fro them.

Internships Opportunities

4

The university provides various opportunities of internship you just have to keep your backlogs zero it will create a bad impression at the company manager that you have back logs and low CGPA. The teachers at the university take you to the labs and workshops to make you more practical so that you can apply it in future at your internships .

Placement Experience

3

The students are eligible for the campus placements from the fifth semester. For getting campus placements , the individual must have atleast Commulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6 or highrer and the student should not have any backlogs in his / her previuos semsters. Many known companies visited Central University of Haryana and many students get very good placement. Last year a company visited the university and a student from computer sciece and engineering get placed with approximately Rs.24,00,000/- per annum and the average package of the batch was Rs.8,00,000/-.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of central university of haryana for bachelor of technology in civil engineering for SC and ST students is Rs.96,800/- . This tution fees has to be paid in four installments for four years as Rs.24,200/- per year . This fees is for SC and ST students who got admission in the university through JoSSA or CSAB Counselling after clearing JEE Exam . Those studemnts who got direct addmision in the university by open councelling has to pay approximately Rs.32,000 - 33,000/- per semester (approximately Rs.70,000/- per year and Rs .2,80,000/- for four years) . If you have been selected for any scholarship the fees may varry for you as the scholarship plan .

Campus Life

4

The experience with the campus life of the central university is very good. There are many events and fests conducted in the campus. There is a tech fest organised every year which includes hackathons etc. and there is a cultural fest organised every year "SPANDAN" in mid February or first week of March There are many varities of E-Books and Physical Books available in the library of the university. There are two libraries in the university. One is in the SOET Branch for the engineering students and the other one is the central library which is in the Academic Block 4 of the university.

Admission

Actually I passes the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) last year with 70.40 percentile. So I applied for JoSSA Councelling in which i got no college , all the round were empty for me , then I applied for the CSAB Councellinng in which i got many colleges like in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and this one then i compared all of them and i came to know that this is the best university according to my needs so i chose this college. If you want to take admission in the engineering department of this university you have two options : first is that you have to clear the JEE Exam and then take part in any of the councelling either JoSSA or CSAB and get this college second is that come to the university , fll the form for the open councelling to take admission in the university and then if you are selected then get admission in the CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF HARYANA.

Faculty

5

The faculty members of the university are very polite and humble , they provide every possible help for the students so that they do not fail in anything for any single silly mistake. The exam pattern of the university is very simple. In the second month of the semester, sessional 1st exam is conducted of 20 marks then in fourth month of semester , 2nd semester is conducted of 20 marks. Now the average of marks of both sessional and additional 5 marks of attendance and 5 marks of assignment , total 30 marks are given as internal marks and in the the last month of the semester , end sem exam is conducted of 70 marks which is consideres as external marks. So there is total of 100 marks out of which a student have to get atleast 40 marks to pass out the semester.

Night Life

4

The night life of the college campus is very good. There are gyms in each and every hostel , all students go there in the evening and do the gym. There is the Cafeteria in between the hostels where all basic needs like groceries , stationaries , grooming products etc. are avaialble. There is a girls parlour in between the girls hostels where girls can do makeups etc. after there is a plaza where is a large sitting area where students sit and gather together. the hostel timings are from 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. same as the campus timings.

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods, etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
