- SRCC is indeed some of top college and many top alumni of country have passed out from this college.
- At SRCC campus even Entrepreneurship cell exists and they teaches us how to create jobs and how to raise funds and all.
- Even B.Com Hons from here is as good as engineering from top college as it brings that kind of value to the table.
Dislikes
- Attendance is not even considered even if we are representing college at any event apart from sports.
Course Curriculum Overview
When you have topped in 12th and also CUET, why would you go anywhere else. Obviously you will do B.Com Hons as economics and bankings both are top electives here. We do have taxation and other important subjects in our syllabus but one can master his/her area in our course. So, I don't think elsewhere this is possible but at DU it is.
Internships Opportunities
Banks are some of the top names for internships and SRCC is perhaps the only college where banks send applications for internships. ICICI Bank, Indusind Bank and even NBFCs like Bajaj Capital and others provides us internship with a stipend of no less than 15k or so. 8-10 weeks internship where everything is taught to us from grassroot is provided in the first year itself.
Placement Experience
Students stand eligible at the final year as placements cell has passed some mandates as 180 degree Celsius which is the name of placements cell has a certain method. Companies like HUL, KPMG, Deloitte and others who are into taxation and accounting are some of the top companies that confirms our admissions here.
Fees and Financial Aid
SRCC is among the most expensive colleges of DU and still the fees is such that the private colleges should learn from it. All we pay is 33000 a year and it's the best breather as once the fees is less, it gives a next level comfort to people coming from middle class families. Many scholarships in the name of various central and Delhi Government names are run to make sure every student of merit can study without worrying about fees.
Campus Life
The 16 and a half acre campus has one large auditorium named Shri Ram Manohar Auditorium Hall. There is one cafe and 2 Kiosks and therefore we don't have to step out for food purpose. There are sports ground and indoor sports stadium too. Many clubs which are quite famous on social media too like Rotaract and others are quite active too.
Admission
One has to top in HSC as well as at the decorated CUET examinations. Since, it's a centralised examination, so students can fill their choices and if the score is as per their choice, they will get the college of his/her choice. So, if you are in the top draw and you are getting as per your preference, then during the counselling just hand over the DD and admissions are confirmed then and there itself.
Faculty
If there is something for which i can say that a certain consistency has been maintained then it is certainly the faculties. The prime reason for that is that faculties of B.Com at least have been teaching for one and a half and some even two decades. So, one can buy anything in this world but certainly not experience. Our ardent professor Mr. Bansi Jha is my favourite as he has given everything that he can to ensure that students get the best experience of learning at SRCC.
Night Life
Bistro 57 a small kiosk is right at the front gate of our college. Then once we reach Kamala Nagar then we have no shortages of hangout places. Cafe Burrito, CCD outlet and obviously since it's delhi there are some famous pubs and clubs too.
