Course Curriculum Overview
The course is highly relevant and comprehensive. It includes Indian and European classical literature, indian and greek mythology, drama, poetry and a lot more. You get to know about different literary periods, well structured as per the semesters.
Internships Opportunities
For internships, there is a placement call assigned for that. They inform as any opportunity arrives, interested and eligible students apply for that. It differs from course to course as well. Opportunities are majorly from 2nd year.
Placement Experience
Students from 5th semester or third year are eligible for campus placements here. Various companies which visited here are Google, Paypal, Amazon, Deloite, etc. Average package is from 10lakhs to 12 lakhs. On an average 60-70% students get placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is affordable, costing around Rs61, 470 for three years (Rs 20, 490 per year). The tution fee includes development, library, exam, and other compulsory charges. Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS students and supports economically weaker students. Scholarships are Merit-cum-Means, by government, Private funding.
Campus Life
I would rate campus life, a 8/10. Initially, department wise freshers is organised. Then there's a diwali fest named, Noor. Stalls are put up, and it's a beautiful event. There's an annual fest, Tarang, which is a banger too!
Admission
I chose this college, or this college chose me? Obviously, it is one of the top colleges of Delhi University and the alumni network is really strong. People uplift you here, and you'll emerge as a strong personality overall.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:68, which is inapprpriate, but tutorial periods are being organised which makes it up for that. Faculty ensures that students know what they are trying to convey. There's no such faculty I don't like. Exams are held twice a year, semester wise, they can be rated from moderate to difficult.
Night Life
There's no nighlife as such. Classes get over by mostly 5:30 and there are markets to visit around the campus, such as markets in GK, amar colony, lajpat nagar. The locality is not that safe to roam around tbh.
