Remarks

Our college provides many opportunities to the students for their complete development in the academics, sports and ECA. Our classes are held properly and regularly. The professors are really helpful. All our it's a nice college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Dyal Singh College has many of arts and science courses for under graduation. It has BA programme and Hons.both in courses like Economics, Hindi, English,History, Geography etc. And BSc programme and hons. in subjects like mathematics, computer science, chemistry, physics. It also B.com programme and hons.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. My college has placement society and it provides many internships in different fields like marketing, business analysis, content writing, operations, business development, research, journalism, video making & editing, photography etc with conditions of work from home or office. Sometimes you may not get very good stipend but you'll have a great experience. Though many times you'll get good stipend, according to the work like 2000-3000 to 6000-7000.

Placement Experience

3.5

Though college has a placement and other societies and it provides enough opportunities for great companies, But competition is very high. One needs to work hard for that. And only few students get chance in such conditions.

College Events

5

My college celebrates a lot of event. Fresh session starts with orientation day. In even semester college celebrates festivals of different societies. Each society organizes it's event for 1, 2 or 3or 4days. Where you explore the things of real world. Society members get experience of arrangements.Every year many successful entrepreneurs, celebrities, young achievers are invited in different events and along with music masti dance and DJ nights we experience lots of fun. Our college also organizes different tournaments like basketball, cricket tournament, different debate, arts and writing competitions. We also celebrate our annual day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is so feasible. My college fee is almost 15000 per year along with examination fee, which is definitely feasible. Though fee structure varies for different courses, but it's feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Though I'm not aware of that if there's any loan facility offered by our college or University. But yeah. It provides scholarship. It's 10000 per annum and only for the students who are not getting other scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Our college Labs are nice enough with all the instruments required. And Lab classes are held strictly. So one will get chance to do all the experiments of the course. Our college is very high in extra curricular activities, sports. It has many societies to explore one's talent. And many competitions are organized on college, University and national level for the students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Our college has no Hostel. But there's nice paying guestrooms (pg) available on traveling distance from college campus in reasonable charges for both boys and girls. Both metro and bus transportation is near to the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and the senior students of our college is nice enough. Nothing like ragging exists in our college. Yeah. you'll have great experience on working with your seniors in many events and get togethers. They are helpful and friendly.

Exam Structure

Examination system of all the college's of DU is based on CBCS(choice based credit system). Examination is distributed in two internals (25%) and externals(75%). Internals are held by college and externals by University. University marks system is CGPA system. One needs to score 40% in each subject to qualify semester.

Admission

Admission criteria of almost all the college's of University of Delhi is based on marit list. The course one wanna opt for, along with subject, college will ask for the score of best 3 or 4 subjects as per merit required. Like if merit requires 94% for Maths Hons. then one's score should be 94% counting mathematics in 3 or 4 subjects as per college required. If one's eligible, one needs to submit registration form for that college along with all of one's documents like marksheets of 10 &12, caste certificate (for reserved categories only), migration certificate, passport size photographe etc. And at last online fee submission. After all this procedure one needs to make online fee payment by login to one's ID on DU website. That's the complete procedure.

Our college has a very nice faculty. Our principal Dr.I.S.Bakshi is M.Sc M.phil and P.hd. He encourages students to do great in ECA along with academics Also the teaching body of every department is well educated and helpful.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
