Regarding university facilities and services

The overall grading of university is fine. Being a government university it has some issues and problems also but as we see the all-over progress , the university is doing well in it's own place and there is also good ranking of university as compared to all other universities and it is the only one university of horticulture and forestry in state collaborated with ICAR.

Basically the forestry is four years course including eight semesters and where starting six semesters are theory based and other remaining two semesters are practically based where it includes experience learning program and Various educational tours.

Basically being a government university it has various projects related works and projects under the university but it don't provide any internship opportunities for the students. It basically consider as educational institution

There are various kinds of job opportunities over here. You can get further jobs in various departments of horticulture and forestry and after graduation or post graduation you can also gave further entrance related to jobs. But the MBA department provide the opportunity of placements from the University.

There are various events celebrated in university. There are sports events, cultural events and sometimes cultural eves during the festival's which r organised by CSA of the university and there will be other activities also organised by university for students social development.

Fee status of university is dependent on the entrance. As the general seat students have to pay 27000 to 35000 including other taxes and for self-financing seats it will raised to 55000 to 60000 including all charges. So fee structure is basically dependent on the seat u have acquired in entrance.

The university provide scholarships for the top 10 students of semester and at the end of graduation they also gave ELP scholarship to all the students and if you do the MSc from similar university they will provide you further scholarship for that.

The each department has a particular lab and the university has a gymnasium also where there are courts for various sports and the university has two play grounds where the university organises Various sports matches like footbaal, volleyball and cricket etc. And there are also have the facility to organise extracurricular activities.

Hostel infrastructure is good and there is separate accomodation for boys and girls and the hostel include the canteen or mess and washrooms itself combined and also have good facilities of electricity and water as well

The seniors are very helpful and friendly and approachable. They are cooperative also. And regarding the alumni network during any very major issues they also co-operate with students. They further approach the students for their convenience.

Entrance consider the medical field and non medical field and thus the questions asked in exam are related to what u have studied in secondary level and after this the semester exams include mid terms , practical and theoretical final exams of various departments.

I gave an entrance after my 12th over here and then after the results announced I came for counselling and then after got selected in counselling I preferred to choose forestry as a graduation stream.

Faculty is divided into three groups and that are horticulture, MBA and forestry where there are various departments included in itself. Further there is an administrative block where the administration officer do their duties and university has also one auditorium and a big library including the various study related material.
