I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

1. Horticulture course have great scope in future 2. Teach us some practical skills like cutting , pruning etc 3. Teachers must focus on skill improvement and practical application not on the leactures

In our college the exam timing is 2.5 hours For 50 marks paper And paper pattern is 10 marks objective and 40 marks subjective The paper is checked in our college And set in university And teachers teach on projector

Courses are well good as if you want to study further for MSc. Of PG they have very much role for that as the exam syllabi is also from their and for the other competitive exam some courses may help for competiton.

In current scenario of the state we are in need to feed a growing population which this course offers probing the basic knowledge of survival i.e. how to fullfill yhe hunger. My own decisionbwas due to me myself being a son of orchardist , about which itself i learnt a vast amount of new knowledge here.

The curriculum is quite good as there is semester system and not year system but there is even a difficulty that as you have to give exams two times in year system but in semester system you have to give exams two times but within six months .Overall curriculum includes youth fest and sports meet also which helps uss in improving our skills

Practical knowledge is one of the main aspect for me to choose the exams are medium level in toughness one can easily pass the exams if he study on time and can score very good marks Teaching methods can be improved by implementing visit to the related subjects tours around different agricultural places

Concerned with the environment as family is with agriculture background and motivation to better for the environment and planet. Usually per semester there is two test based upon the credit hours of the subject for example if 1+1 then 10 marks mid term, 50 for practical and final will be of 40 marks and if 2+1 then 15 for mid, 35 for practical and 50 for final examination

The curriculum is designed to cover every aspect say bioinformatics, basics of plant breeding, biotechnology, immunology, cell biology , pathology, entomology, soil science , molecular markers, plant tissue culture but some part is missing i.e industrial biotechnology As it's a very important part of GATE exam

specific aspects like career oppourtunities in his field is good in various sectors like commercial agriculture, landscaping firms, botanical gardens, research institutions, government agencies and non profitable organizations. curriculum prepares a student very well in different aspects like field experiences, industry related courses like plant propagation, pest management, soil science, greenhouse management improvements can be made in incorporating trainings in different rect technologies like remote sensing, GIS etc. also there should be regular surveys and evaluation processes which help faculty in underastanding which area in lacking behind
