The college offers limited placements, primarily in the fields of Horticulture and Forestry, which have fewer opportunities in the private sector and are more focused on government jobs that require passing certain exams. Typically, only one or two companies visit for placements, with some plywood and paper industries occasionally providing employment. A placement cell exists, and companies like seed tech firms conduct interviews, but overall, placements are mainly pursued individually.
A stipend of around Rs 18,000 is available during the RAWE program in the final year. Despite limited on-campus placements, the college facilitates experiential learning, internships, and offers projects in various sectors, including food and flower industries, NABARD, and ATMA. Internships are offered at places like Rajat Biotechnology Industry and CSK Palampur, with opportunities depending on the stream, such as biotechnology. However, there is no consistent guidance or placement support post-graduation, requiring students to seek jobs through competitive exams or further education like MSc or Ph.D.
