Scholarships at the college are primarily awarded based on academic merit, specifically to students who excel in entrance exams or rank in the top 10% of their class with a CGPA of 7.5 or above. For PG students, particularly those from Himachal Pradesh, scholarships are available if admitted against general seats. Undergraduate students can access scholarships if they are among the top 10 students. A variety of scholarships, such as the DST INSPIRE, ICAR JRF/SRF, and others, are available, and details can be found on the university's website.
Scholarships typically range from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 per month. Financial aid is also available, with amounts varying from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 2.5 lakh. Self-financed seats have higher fees compared to normal seats. Normal seat fees range from approximately Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 60,000 per annum, whereas self-financed seats range from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1.4 lakh per annum. Additionally, stipends are provided to MSc students who pass the entrance exam and BSc students in their final year.
Various government scholarships are also accessible, and students can only avail one scholarship at a time.
