Courses are well good as if you want to study further for MSc. Of PG they have very much role for that as the exam syllabi is also from their and for the other competitive exam some courses may help for competiton.

Major research programs are there on would like toh opt for. And if is great research program university sponser you for the further studies in abroad and the expense is beared by the university. Other benefit are the in govt. Exam 70% reservation are provided for the student who graduate form this field which cut down the competiton for the jobs .Major diadvantage is that the vacany comes very much less so this reservation thing is not that applicable.

As i am studying in Dr. Y.S.P. University nauni Here academic and sport circulum is great as there is large campus area with auditorium gymnasium and gym's as one wish to do so. Teaching is great as there is a lot of professor present regarding every course and also there is scope of further researches in foreign university on the scholarship basis.

Campus life is great as there is alot going on colleges sometimes different cultural activities,sports event.A open sitting places at diiferent places where some students show theri talent as some plau guitars or damcing etc.Huge campus area to roam around. Big liberary to study.

First of all the overall ranking and ICAR affiliation offcourse .Other perspectives are that research work is there and as myself i want to persue my carrier in research thats why opertunities for research such foreign study is sponserd by the university itself.

Exam are conducted by the university itself for the normal seats. People who want to opt for the self finacing seats are required to have high percentage of 10+2 level as seats are given on that merit and this self finacing seats are open for all india students where as the exam which is conducted by university is reserved for the himachali bonifide students.Students who want to opt for normal seats are required to appear in ICAR exam and on the basis of that merit normal seats for all india students are given.

Nightlife is not that much good as hostel timming restrict the students to going out after 9 p.m. and majority of the students reside in the hostel so it is hard toh see that much of poeple around you at night.
