Course Curriculum Overview

5

The Course Curriculum is Good. Some Courses are Tough but they actually prepare us for the Real World Problems. The Computer Science Courses in the Campus are Very Good. They teach the Concept considering the Situation in the Real World. Every Course has a tutorial Session, which helps the student to open up about doubts and clear them.

Internships Opportunities

5

There will be Research Internships after Second or Third Year. Students can go to Foreign Countries like Germany or US, to do a research Intern, which is Paid. There will be Semester Exchange Program in which you do a Semester in any Foreign University, and IIT DELHI Pays all the Fee of the Student. Some Students go into Internships for MnC's in 3rd Year. Everyone can get an offer in something. The opportunities in the campus are high.

Placement Experience

5

The Placements of the College is Good. Currently IIT DELHI, is not releasing data about Packages but they're releasing only Percentage of Placements. Not Every Person here applies for Placement. Because some People go for UPSC, some for Foreign and some for Startups. Which shows that IIT DELHI, is not just for Placement, it's for overall development in life along with Placements and Internship. I would like to get a job in Top MnC in India.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Yearly Academic Fee is 200000(1Lakh per Semester ) which is different from Hostel. It also depends on Family Income and Caste. If Family Income falls under range of 1-5LPA, the Academic Fee is Reduced to one third and if less than 1LPA or SC/ST, you will be waivered 100% Academic Fee. There are Scholarship Programs like Mittal Reinssance, Reliance, Yuva. There will be Certain Family Income Ranges to be Eligible for some of the Scholarships. Everyone has the Same Academic Fee which is 100000 Per Semester.

Campus Life

5

The Biggest Festival of Campus is Rendevous, which is Biggest Festival after Mood Indigo in Asia. Every Club Participate in this Event. And Entrepreneurship cell conducts BeCon which is an Annual Meet of CEO, Founders, Leaders, to Improve the Startup culture in India. Startups participated in the Event Got about 2Million Dollars in the Funding in the Year of 2024. There is a lot of activity going on in the Sports Club. Sports club is collectively called BSA(Board of Student Activities). Which conducts General Championship Every Year between Hostels and there will be lot of Competitions like Running, TT, Squash, Badminton and everything that you can think of.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel Facility is Good. The Fee depends on Hostel to Hostel. For B.Tech there are No AC Hostels and For my Hostel Semester Fee is 45000 per Semester. AC Hostels are actually got M.Tech and PhD's. The Hostel will be alloted before hand so that student can have an easy registration process. The Registration is also smooth. 2nd Year students help the New Entries in the Process in every hostel.

Admission

Considering IIT DELHI, over other IIT's and NIT's is that, IIT DELHI's culture is Very Good in Every Field. It's best in Entrepreneurship Culture, Placements, Infrastructure, Clubs. Every Department here is Equally Important and there is no bias among department because every department works in something collectively to create something great and helpful to nature. The acceptance rate in IIT DELHI is around 0.5%. Which makes it a competitive Campus to be.

Faculty

5

The Faculty Member is a Very Highly Qualified in their own area. Faculty Student Ratio is 1:8. There will be One Mid Sems and One End Sem Examinations in the Entire Semester. There will be Quizzes Depending on the Professor and the Course Structure. The Marking Scheme Changes from Every course to course.

Interview Experience

5

There's an Exam Called JEE Advanced, but to write this Examination you need to Qualify JEE MAINS Examination. The JEE Advanced Pattern is Objective, the Pattern and Marking Scheme Changes Every Year. JEE ADVANCED is the second toughest Examination in the World. So the Preparation for this should be focused mainly on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry upto Grade 12.

Night Life

5

The Campus has Night mess. Which is essentially Canteens in the Mid Night arounf 12AM.to 3AM. The Campus is safe in the Night. There will be a lot of hangout places spreaded around the campus. Every Hostel has a Gym and there's a Common Gym in the Sports Complex. There are Specific Timings for Hostel, anyone can come at anytime they want. Institute Timings are 8AM to 6PM, but some Exams will be conducted after this Time Period. Every Location in the Campus is Safe as every one coming to the Campus will be Checked and there will be CC Cameras spreaded everywhere in campus.

I choosed this course not on the basis of curriculum but on the basis of outcomes. Curriculum is old and not real world based, professors also have limited knowledge. Course Curriculum should be made more advanced and professors should be trained well.
