Course Curriculum Overview
I think the curriculum is something that you can relate to in your life after graduation also, the subjects especially when you choose your specialization give you a great insight about your subject. The curriculum is based upon theoretical and practical knowledge, including industry visits, internships, research projects and etc.
Internships Opportunities
Companies come for internship opportunities around March for the BBA batch. The major companies that came on campus offered roles as an intern in the fields of sales, marketing, and operations. Students also go for off campus internships as per their choices.
Placement Experience
I didn't take any placements from the college as I wanted to go for higher studies. But my batchmates took the placements and they were placed with decent packages. The companies that came on campus for BBA batch recruitment, mainly the customer-centric role, sales, and operations roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the BBA Program at IGDTUW is pretty straightforward. For the first and second years, the fees were ?85,000 per year. In the third year, the fee increased to approximately ?92,000. The initial payment is made once the admission process is completed, and subsequently, yearly fees are paid through the university portal. The fees may continue to increase as the university enhances its facilities and offer perks to the students.
Campus Life
The cultural fest was the best part of our college. We have 3 festivals in a year, cultural fest Taarangana, technical fest Innerve, and sports fest Synergy. I was part of the cultural fest Taarangana as the sponsorship core, and I still believe that my experience in Taarangana will be the most memorable for me in my college life. We had access to an online library and offline as well, with books available for every subject.
Admission
My top 5 percentage in 12th was 90.4%. I wanted to BBA and the colleges I applied to I secured admission there. I chose IGDTUW as I read reviews and one of my known ones was already a student of the university.
Faculty
There were around 6 subjects in our first and second year, and each subject used to be taught by a single faculty. The faculty members were friendly and approachable. I liked Shikha Ma'am, Ankit Sir, Anshumali Sir, and Chavi Ma'am, they are some of the best teachers and great mentors as well. Always ready to clear the doubts. As for the exam process, the curriculum has mid-terms and end-terms. The students who have attended the classes and are thorough about the subjects were able to score good marks.
Night Life
As I was not a hostel student, I didn't get much experience with the nightlife of the hostel and campus. I only had an experience once, when Taarangana was happening, as I was sponsorship core and I had to stay at the campus to make the arrangements, and that's one of the most joyful memories I have. The college canteen works around 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. and the Nescafe is available for the students till 6:00 p.m. The entry to the university for hostel people closes at 10:00 p.m. The best places to hang out on the campus are near the canteen, near Nescafe, and the area near basketball ground, it lights up so pretty at night.
