Likes

Raging free campus with a great atmosphere
Many programs are organised by different clubs
Along with technical workshops cultural events are also held

Dislikes

Facilities can be improved. The lab equipments are old and has to be changed
Facilities like incinerators are not available in every departments
Lack of advanced technical guidance, the lab practices are outdated

Course Curriculum Overview

The biggest difficulty I faced was tackling the hectic schedule. The 6 month long sem is often cut short into two or three months and it is therefore very difficult to manage your studies. Also lab exams and your project submissions and assignment submissions often clash due to the hectic schedule. We have two series and then finally an external semester examination so you always have a tight schedule

Placement Experience

We have good placements. Many mncs come for campus placements to our college. In all of gec, electrical department has the highest placement with almost 90 percent placed. Companies include tcs, wipro, jsw, infosys, reliance etc

Campus Life

We have a lot of clubs. The variety of clubs is unbelievable and everyone is welcome to join in. Being a part of a club helps you in a lot of ways. You can choose a club according to your interest and personal growth preference.

Admission

It is the second best college in kerala just after cet. The college has high placements. The atmosphere of the college is very peaceful. There is no campus ragging or other such bad practices. The college promotes a healthy environment for students

Faculty

We have good faculty, all are very highly qualified. But as it is a government job, there are some who don't take classes regularly. Since they get paid irrespective of whether classes are taken or not there are sometimes a lack of sincerity. But we also have very great teachers eager to teach and help the students develop their skills

Night Life

We have a great nightlife. You can roam around the college any time. Official curfew for womens hostel is 9.30 but we can hangout anywhere in college. There are always people in campus. Canteen closes at 6.00 pm. Library closes at 4.30 pm

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.
