College experience should be good as it benchmarks your future. Mine was very good. Teachers have guided me a lot plus i learned a lot myself too. College life makes you learn broad perspectives which can never be given by others.
Course Curriculum Overview
As of my opinion mathematics honors is one of the best course in Delhi university plus faculty was also good in my college so it made work more easier for me. Teachers provides you good notes here(specially poonam ma’am)
Internships Opportunities
Yes it provides but I didn’t do it. Multiple internships are there. Some are paid some are not. Some pay good some pay less. It totally depends on the popularity of the internship. There was many internships.
Placement Experience
It’s good. Few companies like infosys came. Some of my friends got placements also. They first provides you training then job there. Multiple companies came and took interviews of the various department’s applicants.
College Events
Freshers, fests, farewells. Freshers for all and one for each department is there. Also one fest is of college and one for each department and activities are there accordingly. One farewell is common for all departments and one for each department.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very feasible fee structure. Obviously government universities charges very less but yes Delhi university provides best facilities too. That too daulat ram college. Our labs was very good and efficient. Staff was very good accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
I’ve been awarded via ncc. I got a scholarship of rs 6,000/- once. Also there are many scholarship for different communities also for brilliant students and fee concessions are also there. All the notifications are given through teachers.
Campus Life
All are good. I’ve been into sports labs and ncc. All were very good. Again staff is good so it becomes more easier to cooperate.labs and attendants was very good. Sports was diverse. You can opt for any. Ncc is also a good opportunity there in my college.
Hostel Facilities
I’ve never been to the college hostel. I’ve lived in university hostel that was very good and cooperative staff was there. They were very affable plus that was very affordable. College hostel is bit expensive and warden is also not cooperative as much as i know.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they’re alumni meet keeps on happenings every year and it’s obviously helpful as your seniors comes and guides you about future and what companies they are working in, what colleges they are in for post graduation. How to prepare also.
Exam Structure
It’s good and help you preparing for finals. There are multiple tests before exams assignments are also there. Both of 10 marks. Few teachers takes multiple tests few one or two and take average. Then finals.
Admission
First i took admission in kalindi college then cut off dropped and i migrated to daulat ram college. Then i took migration certificate and cancelled my previous admission and then took admission in daulat ram college.
Faculty
No doubt maths is a difficult subject and knowing this subject deeply is more difficult. To make others understand one has to be professional in the subject. So was the faculty of daulat ram college. They made it more easier.
