It has good alumni. It has very good scope for exploring.
Many companies recruit students for here.
This college has many departments to explore and professors are very interactive and helpful.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not good as its is built nearly 100 yrs ago.
As college is placed in dhanbad not much developed city. Not many places to visit.
Some instruments in lab were bot working much efficiently.

Course Curriculum Overview

Professor will follow lecture plan which will given to the student on very first day of the class. Every chapter consists its number of class hours required.While teaching classes we need to show its experiment procedure at same time. Exam are placed well .

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 26400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fee without any scholarship is 100000/- tuition fee and hostel fee 26400/- per sem. As I have invome certificate below 5 lakhs and above 1 lakh so I will get fee wavier and Mcm scholarships so my tuition fee will be nil and i will pay only 26400/- per sem.

Campus Life

This college has many different clubs . We have competitions like inter iit competitions in which we will compete with other iits . We have clubs based on social welfare like ffi club . We have many sports club.

Admission

As my college is an iit campus it will have many opportunities than other colleges. This college has very good scope to explore and good placement opportunities. I got admission here by writing very famous and tough exam named jee advanced and secured rank of 1420 in ews category and selected in this college.

Faculty

Faculty members are very interactive and helpful. They provide very good knowledge to students. There will be credit criteria in course. We have to complete total 399 credits in total 4 years.exams will be conducted very strictly. Papers will be very tough as we need to have goog grip on the subject.

Night Life

Our campus is very secured. All vehicles will be allowed after entering this registered number in campus gate. Main gate will be closed at night 10 o clock no person will be allowed after 10 in to campus.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
