What Students Say

Likes

Here What I obseved is Girls and boys are treating Equally.
In this college per semester fees is very low as compared to other colleges.
For those Economical Weaker Sections They have chance to get free education.

Dislikes

At Present, Sports Events are on Average.
For Cultural Events,We are getting low funds
There are Limited Hostels for B.Tech students and there are no Hostel seats for other Courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

What Influenced me here is especially the curriculum what they are working on it.Here they are conducting labs very well.they wil give sufficient time to prepare the exam.The difficult level is according to the topic what we have to prepare is.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Hi,I am a student of National Institute of Technology ,Raipur . I belongs To General Category I have to pay 62000 fees per semester.Some Scholarships are there for merits.For Hostel,mess They Charged for 54,000 out of those amount we get 9000 as refund .For Economical Weaker Sections They have to only Hostel and mess fees.For registration on josaa and csab platform nearly 13000 rupees were charged.For SC and ST they also have to pay Hostel,Mess.

Campus Life

Here campus life is just average.Here there so many clubs In different Sectors I am participating in two clubs namely Aviation and Eclectika. It will have huge impact on student placements.He will more attract towards interviewers.

Admission

I applied for so many other colleges like IIT'S and NIT'S .I qualified in advanced exam but my rank is very low so i didn't get any seat in any iit college in any branch.i preferred mechanical branch according to my rank i alloted to this college.

Faculty

There are 1 lecturer for 15 students.As there is 1:15 ratio faculties approach very actively.I liked so many faculties here.They conduct 2 exams per semester. One is mid sem and end sem.we have to stay 5- 7 hours per day.

Night Life

First of all gym is ordinary and it will be available for two hours once per a day. Hostel timings are Morning 6 AM to night 9 PM .We can indoor games with our friends in late night like carrom board,chess,ludo etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered, companies come to college to offer placement, but obviosuly not all students get placed, Only handful of students get placed at good package of around 6~9 LPA And many get normal mass hiring jobs at TCS of 2~3 LPA

My College Diary

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently in 1st yr so I have not explored much. But my inner feeling says I am in the right place and in the right branch. There are so many club and community which gives us a real world applications. Course curriculum and teaching method are good Classes are of 50min.It starts from 9 to 12:20 then from 2 to 5:20 . Morning timing is generally lab and evening theory classes

NIT raipur at a glance

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year.If you need any information regarding the placements you can visit the college official website,there will be a list of companies visited the college in a particular year and statistics of the placements. The average pacakage is about 9LPa for chemical engineering.It will be differed when it comes to CSE,IT .THe highest package this year(2024) is about 53lpa . Many of the students will get job offers during the campus itself and few people remain jobless and they get prepare for off-campus and few opt for higher studies. Almost 80-90 percent gets placed in the college itself irrespective of the branch.

Remarks:

The College is the only Institute of its kind in Chhattisgarh. It has an average infrastructure and the campus is small in size. There are many few colleges in-country offering b.tech in dairy technology, the admission process is very simple and also the fees is very cheap as compared to any other colleges, the professors are well qualified and they provide overall a good environment for study.

Remarks:

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.

college Facilities

Remarks:

Positives of College- Very good faculties, well established Laboratories, a lot of opportunities for extra curricular activities and Sports is an important part of college. Negatives- attendance system is to be modified, Some books in library are very old, hostel doesn't provide Breakfast.

Superb college curriculum

Remarks:

Overall my experience with the College is super and hastily developing, in the last few years we have wide-ranging face-lift of our precincts. Our laboratories are enhanced, courses are now at good standard. We have discrete catalogue center. Infrastructures and channels are decent. Hostels are also beneath revamp. Our institution is waged at quick bound.

Life At Nit Raipur

If I talk about other colleges then I also give viteee and I'm getting vit easily as per my rank but the tag I want is from nit so I choose this over vit.After getting nit Raipur in jossa or csab you have to report physically on the day they called u and verify your documents.
