Course Curriculum Overview

choosing this one is worth it because it is much better than choosing some lower government and private colleges.Institute not only focuses on studies but also prepare us good enough for placements. They also help in developing our communication skills.I chose to study Mining Engineering branch.

Placement Experience

4

Talking about the sem for which students are eligible to be placed are somewhere around 7th sem , mostly in the last year .. but one of the pros are .. placements here are not seasonly but evergreen throughout the total year .. For btech total offers made was around 850 , for mining top companies are bhel, sail , coal India . Last year highest was 62 lpa and avg was somewhere around 10.2 for mining , and 13 lpa overall. 70-80% gets placed overall .. My plan is to qualify gate ..

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise i am paying 60 k per year as my income certificate shows the income in between 1 to 5 lakhs.Students whose income certificate shows above 5 lakhs have to pay 1400000 per year . Students whose income is less than one lakh have to pay only 20 k per year.Sc /St students have to pay only 20k irrespective of what their income certificate shows.Tuition fee is 62k, development fee is 2k, lab fee is 1k, medical fee is 300, mis fee is 600.

Campus Life

4

Aavartan and eclectika are one of the top annual and tech fest of central India .. which is conducted here .. almost every branch's books and journals are available here in our central library. Facilities and technological provision could be better here .. Some of the classes are not equipped with smart boards / projector .. We've sports complex which is newly made .. football , cricket , basketball and volleyball grounds are also available.. there are many clubs here .. which are run by students and their social groups are also run by students..

Hostel Facilities

3

For boys hostel some of the 1st year hostels are 2seater and some are 3 seater .. for seniors it's 3 seater .. 1 cupboard, 1 desk and 1 chair are available for each student .. whereas for 1st year girls .. it's 4 seater .. and for senior girls it's 3 seater .. Registration process for hostel are based on cpi of 1st , 3rd and 5th sem for the next year hostel allotment whereas for the first year .. it's based on the jee main rank .. Ddu , rohinipuram and kota could be an option for the locality of pg ..

Admission

If I talk about other colleges then I also give viteee and I'm getting vit easily as per my rank but the tag I want is from nit so I choose this over vit. After getting nit Raipur in jossa or csab you have to report physically on the day they called u and verify your documents. You have to pass jee main fir getting nit .For girls u can get mining branch in 94+ % and for boys it is 96+%.

Faculty

Faculty to student relationship is good as they bother about our studies.Faculty members have a good doubt solving skill and we can also clear our doubts from research scholars as well. There is a funny incident of mine, as I am a back bencher in the class so, teachers usually scold me to study. In my mid semester I scored full marks in Math and teachers were surprised. My bonding with faculty members is good.Semester system is followed in my institute. Each semester is of 6 months. 2 exams are conducted in each. One is mid semester exam, which conducted after 2.5 months of semester starting. Other one is end semester exam; along with it a practical exam is also conducted. Well, academics prepare us for real life challenges, as balancing assignments, deadlines, and exams trains you to handle multiple tasks.

Night Life

Main Canteen named Bihaan: 10AM–5pm (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner are available and junkfoods also ..) Places for hangout outside the colleges are mahadev ghat .. jain mandir .. iscon temple .. ram mandir ... Second Canteen (Vachan) 10AM–7 PM Coffee Corner (near Library): 9 AM–7:30PM Central Library: 8 AM–10 PM on weekdays; 9 AM–6 PM on Saturdays; closed Sundays and institute holidays Boys’ Hostels: Gates locked 9 PM–5 AM; night?out permission required for exits during that period. Girls’ Hostels: Gates locked 9:30 PM–6 AM; strict sign?in/out protocol for security.

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.

Remarks:

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.
