PET, Pre engineering test (state level) Merit based admission. I choose mechanical branch because it's the top branch of bit college.

It's quite good, It's four year course and syllabus covers all portions which are comes in gate and engineering services examinations. In every year there are two semesters and every semester consist theory as well as practical exams there are six theory exams and four practical exams in each semester.

We have to find the companies in which we want to do internship. We are not provided with any stipend nor do any company come for the internship. Most of us do our internship from BHILAI STEEL PLANT, Bhilai.

There are good job opportunities in the college, best opportunities in the state. A lot of companies came to college and also there were many open campus placements. Companies arrived TCS, IGATE, SAPLABS, indian army, indian navy approximately 400 of 540 were placed in my batch and 500 of 540 were placed in my senior batch of which 350 were in TCS in my batch there were around 60 students in each company.

First 5 admitted students of every branches only need to pay 5000 rs per semester. Loan facility is also available from state government's side. Scholarship of 21000 per year given to OBC category students from state government's and 10000 per year (to top 1300 students on the basis of 12th marks) from central government.

In first year there were weekly tests and all. From second year, when we get into our branch there. There are 3 Class TEST in one semester and then The end semester exam. There are internals also which are quite hectic sometimes. After this there are semester exams occur which consist 6 theory and 4 practical exams .
