LIFE AT ST THOMAS, BHILAI

Likes

Infrastructure and greenery is quite impressive. Neat and clean classrooms and campus, Wi-fi availability inside the campus, sports facilities, big library make the campus more beautiful and impressive.
The college and good reputation and legacy. Placements are just fine according to the fee structure and location. Internships and industrial visits are just ok-ok. Value for money.

Dislikes

No clubs or fest as such which are important in today's time as students learn from such things. These kind if activities helps students in learming new things, helps sharpen their skills, and also motivate them. Faculty resources are inconsistent.
The college has limited cultural and sports participation. Also clubs and societies exist but the participation is very moderate.

Admission:

For Bhilai, Chhattisgarh there are less number of college so beacause of legacy and name I opted for this college. I didn't applied for any other college other than this. Talking about the admission process it is easy and hassle-free. No exams have to be cleared, on 12th basis you can get admission.

Admission:

I choose this college because it's nearest and have good ratings and many friends and seniors applied in same college so it's reviews from them are very good so I applied here am qualified for this college so there's no issue in enrolling here other collegs are also good in very aspects but the standards of other colleges are very higher than here the education here is good than other colleges the admission process is very comforting my parents are all comfortable while enrolling here and the staff is very good

Maintaining the greenry in college helps to provide good environment
The overall Campus area is good with different sports area hostels are thier for girls.

Dislikes

Lack of management in supplies for no dues list and all different forms
Library lacks in giving some of the books.

• with the percentage of previous secondary examination should be of more than 45% of ST quota • Application form , fees and dates are updated on the official site of the college • In reservation quota you'll get the seats and admission first in college as well as the scholarship opportunities and in some competitive things too regarding the university. •Frequency is as good in examination and the timings are divided as the college is affiliated to durg University/ hemchand yadav University the exams are taken in annual basis timings are divided in three shifts. First shift for bsc second for bcom & third for Ba. The moderate level of difficulty level is seen more in exams. •They should have more offices regarding admission process. Staying their for too long is time taking apart from that the management would go lil better than the previous. •

Campus is clean and tidy and available with benches and cafeteria so that we can sit and discuss

for the admission students can fill online form for the registration. after verification all the original documents of marksheet and other mentioned documents has to be submitted. for the eligibility in bsc biotechnology student has to be a science student with bilology in their 12th standard. All the further verification of the document will be done in the college office and it will be done in one day itself.

Admission:

You are to pass 12th with at least 40%. While thinking about taking admission you can check the college's official website there you can get all the related information you want like admission date, fee structure per year, and how to take admission. You can either take online or offline admission. In this college first, you have to enroll yourself in the affiliated university. Then after you have to fill out the admission form and fill in all the details and if you are thinking of taking NCC or naa you can give your answer in the form and also if you wanna take admission to a hostel for that you have to write a letter. After completing all these take the principal signature and submit it to the respective counter. If you have scored less than 40% then you have to wait for the list.

Yes, you can take direct admission into the final year (3rd year) of the B.Sc. program at St. Thomas College, Bhilai, subject to approval and regulations.

Lateral (transfer) admission to 2nd & 3rd year is permitted for new students, but requires permission from the Principal and must be applied for within 10 days of result declaration.
You will need to fill out the online admission form, pay the nominal fee (INR 100), and upload documents such as your 10th, 12th, and previous year mark sheets, migration certificate, and Aadhaar copy.
