REVIEW OF BITR

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.

My college is affiliated to CSVTU i.e. Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University. There are 8 semesters in the Engineering curriculum, semester exams are held at a different college (given exam center). Checking of answer sheets are done online after scanning and uploading of answer sheets. Checking of answer sheets are done randomly so the process remains fair. The college has an annual tech fest. It was very recent that the college conducted an International conference. A day of student is very well spent. Everything is taken very seriously, hard work from students is expected. Sometimes it's gets tiring due to lots of assignments and presentations but it benefits students in a long run.

Placement in the college are satisfactory. The average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. College doesn't provide any internship in particular but we are allowed to do trainings of our choices during the given training period.

There is an annual tech fest called uday. There are various events held under this fest from technical to non-technical and cultural. Students from all across the state join the fest. Apart from it, regular celebrations of various events take place. From fresher's party to farewell. Numerous organizations keep visiting to organize events.

The tution fees is around 35000 per semester. Hostel fees is 33000 per semster. For localities opting for bus, bus fee is between 9000-12000 (depending upon the pick up location). Apart from it book bank fee and other fees sums up to be around 2000. 1. average total fee for student living in hostel - 65000/- per semester. 2. average total fee for a localite with bus facility- 45000/- per semster.

Education loans from any bank is accepted during admission. There are some formalities and form filling and procedures to be followed and student gets loan very easily. There are scholarship facilities available for SC/ST candidates.

There are many clubs in the college, language club, kodachourome (the photography club), dance, music art and coders club to mention a few. Numerous workshops are held on different ocassions. Student welfare in quite good and no political propaganda can be seen.

There are two hostels, one attached to college (for boys), other in the Raipur city at harsh residency, deopuri Raipur(For girls and boys). students can opt. for any one according to their preference or availability of rooms. There is availability of 24×7 wifi. Water supply and regular cleaning of rooms and washourooms are done. Hygiene is maintained and there are strict rules to be followed.

All the seniors and juniors are connected with each other. Alumni network and records are maintained in college and alumni meet occurs at occasions. Successful alumni of college visits in premises for regular guidances. There exists a healthy relationship between juniors and seniors. Seniors are helpful.

I am a 6th semester, computer science and engineering student in Bhilai Institute of technology, Raipur. I got admission in the college thourough CGPET counseling. It is held after CGPET though the state government.

Minimum qualification of all the faculties is Mtech. They constantly word hard to create new ways to teach and make students grow and excel more. Frequent test and assignments alongwith presentations helps students to gain a healthy perspective and personality in all paradigm.
