Remarks
The process was quite simple for me as compared to others. I was selected directly based on my JEE score. My interview was also simole and good, they checked my communication skills along with basic 12th standard knowledge. There was no donation fees sort of things.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, based on the future aspects and requirements. I was very much confused while choosing and finally came to the point of choosing between computer science and electronics and eventually went with that only after having a councelling session with the faculties of electronics, before my admission. The faculties, especially for electronics are very much friendly and helpful. The teacher-to-student ratio is approx 1:20. The faculties are well qualified and the exams are quite a bit difficult as the scoring is done by the CSVTU who are literally bad at giving scores.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester, students become eligible for internship and job placements on campus. Most frequent companies are Jaro Education, Byjus, NECO, TCS, etc. The highest packages offered are 12 LPA and the minimum is 2.4 LPA. Almost 70%students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are increased each year by around 7-10%. The basic cost is around 27k per semester i.e. 54k per year. Scholarships are given to the other castes and financial assistance is provided to those who are good in studies and curriculum. Jobs are also provided on campus but the pay is quite average or below average. It's better to go off-campus if you are skilled enough, even the teachers suggest it.
Campus Life
Our College conducts an annual tech fest named UDAY in the month of March. Study Books are totally available in the library but it lacks other recreational books and novels. Classrooms are basic with some special AV classes for presentation and all. Sports classes are provided once a week, apart from that the special sporty persons get their training time too. Many clubs are also formed like the photography ones and the art ones.
