They are pretty helpful and motivate us to do more in career and other curriculum activities. They provide us with the best guidence and opportunities for our further future while will help us to grow more

There is placement opportunities in our college but not that much because there aren't many companies that comes and gives us the opportunity and due to that we have to apply for off campus placement which is better opportunity for us being a tier 3 College student

Fees and Financial Aid

My per semester fee is around 35000 to 40000 , hostel fee is around 35000 per semester. My College is tier 3 College so my college doesn't provide me with the best financial advises and due to that there aren't much employment opportunities

Campus Life

It's boring and we have small buildings but big enough to play various sports and activities there aren't much club events . The campus life is not very good as the students are average thinking and mainly focuses on only marks .

Admission

The admission process was smooth and errorless. Counseling process was done under CGDTE Admission were taken from CGPET and JEE Mains Seats were reserved for SC ST and OBC But no scholarships were given directly from college All courses at BIT Raipur is NBA Accredited

A Better One

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Affordable government college in Chhattisgarh

Placement Experience:

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.

Placements are offered, companies come to college to offer placement, but obviosuly not all students get placed, Only handful of students get placed at good package of around 6~9 LPA And many get normal mass hiring jobs at TCS of 2~3 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently in 1st yr so I have not explored much. But my inner feeling says I am in the right place and in the right branch. There are so many club and community which gives us a real world applications. Course curriculum and teaching method are good Classes are of 50min.It starts from 9 to 12:20 then from 2 to 5:20 . Morning timing is generally lab and evening theory classes

NIT raipur at a glance

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year.If you need any information regarding the placements you can visit the college official website,there will be a list of companies visited the college in a particular year and statistics of the placements. The average pacakage is about 9LPa for chemical engineering.It will be differed when it comes to CSE,IT .THe highest package this year(2024) is about 53lpa . Many of the students will get job offers during the campus itself and few people remain jobless and they get prepare for off-campus and few opt for higher studies. Almost 80-90 percent gets placed in the college itself irrespective of the branch.

An experience of Personal Life to Campus Life

As I was not totally aware about BIT Raipur till the time I got into the college people in cities do have a good image of BIT raipur as a best college through a decade because, BIT Durg is the parent institute of BIT Raipur so it do have a good image because of that and if you just want to study and explore yourself you can get admission in this college. Admission can be done Directly and also on the basis of JEE mains rank also there is a regional exam held for students in Chattisgarh that is Known as CGPET and it is conducted by DTE it is a body that regulates admission in the state and after exams and release of your rank, a DV is done and on the basis of your choice filling you can get colleges...Read More
