Course Curriculum Overview

5

The approach of college through their curriculum is very nice and favorable for students. There is a good time to prepare for exams as syllabus completed on time. So, punctuality is very nice in syllabus completion. The exams are not very tough and not very easy, their level is moderate. You need to study properly and listen to your teacher's advice and you can score good in your exams.

Placement Experience

From 7 semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Last year, 90 companies visited our campus and highest package offered was around 36 lakh per annum. There was 90% placement rate last year which is quite good. After my degree completion, I alsoo want to join a MNC and do well in life.

There are rooms with different sharing type. In 2 sharing room, they provide two beds , two study tables with comfy chairs and two separate alimrah but the mattress you have to buy/bring yourself. The mess food and menu is pretty good and the timings for each meal is bang on. For hostels you have to consult the hostel manager in the college and then the hostel secretary. They will provide the hostel. If u rent a room or Pg, the locality is good. There are various shops fir food and medicines. Overall locality is nice and crime free.

Admission

I have applied in Ramaiah, RV ,Pes but I chose BMS because of its reputation and experiencal learning process. The placements rate is very high in this college as compared to others. The degree from this college holds a good value in the market and there are high chances to get a good jo easily.

Faculty

5

The faculty - student interaction is really good. The teachers are very nice and have helping nature. There are three minor exams in each semester in which best of two will be considered for final evaluation. The maths teacher for First semester and teachers for Caed and renewable are great.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
