Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is well designed.there are 2 mid sem exam before the end semester exams There are also internal and external practical as well Faculties remain helpful throughout the session

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 158000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities offered was on a stipend basis of approx 15-20 thousands per month The students are hired for their role as a software developer (backend developer and frontend developer)

Placement Experience

From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement The companies that visited were tcs , infosys , amazon Highest package offered was 44 lakhs Average package was 5.5 lakhs 100 percent placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Guru Tegh Bahadur institute of technology is a well known institution among many top colleges of IP University The average package of the institute in branches like cse or it is approx 5-6 lakhs and the highest package being something around 44 lakhs Professor's are really supportive and are highly qualified as well There is no hostel facility available in the college but you can get pg at a walking distance from college My overall experience is fairly good here

Campus Life

Fresher's party... dandiya nights... bollywood day and sports meet are the event which happen regularly Library staff is very supportive and the Books are easily available There are many societies in the college as well

Admission

I appeared in the counselling of IP University and not being from Delhi ..the information technology branch in this institution was best suited to my rank Procedure of admission is through jee mains and counselling of IP University

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 60:1 as there are 60 students in one section of a particular branch Faculties are highly qualified many of them are graduated from the top institution of the country Labs are fairly equipped

Interview Experience

No i haven't faced any group discussions yet because I am in my first semester of BTech academy so I haven't appeared for any interview yet but as far as I am concerned about cds and many interview questions rounds are there

Night Life

There is no hostel facilities in the college so sadly there is no night Life but as the college is in a very good location you can just enjoy the life there... There are 2 canteens in the college .. canteens food is fine

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Summary of IIT-D

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. The cutoff for this college is you'll get CSE branch if your rank is below 3L and CSE specialised branch if rank is below 5L for IT below 6-7L....Read More

Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there. Frequency and timings of exam is medium on their difficultly level.
